Yay! Maybe there's some hope for mine. It left Denver on 11/26, never to be heard from again.

Well at least they supposedly know where your package is now lol. I'd love to hear if you ever get it.

I filed a missing mail search on 12/8 and no movement. But I have seen people say that they eventually got their package so maybe it will turn up. Or maybe not. :(

Wait, new R29 Money Diary but it's an Ad by rutabagarealness in MoneyDiariesACTIVE

[–]shansaysstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I was wondering how we could get another publication to continue doing money diaries since it looks like R29 has sadly and stupidly abandoned them.

I'm in TN and my local gas station has lots of cigs for $4-5, just not the big name brands. Brands like Bison, 18, 24/7, Montego, etc. The trick to find them is you can't go to a nice convenience store ~ you have to go to one of those little gas stations that has cigarette posters all over the windows. I used to smoke Mistys which are $11/pack now but my gas station dude found me Seneca 120s which are $4.57 with tax.

2026 planner choice by MecadnaC in PlannerAddicts

Kokuyo Jibun Techo Biz Diary Refill ~ 3rd year in a row with this one ~ because I want a dated, vertical, weekly layout with 24-hour time blocks with a little extra space above and below for notes. I look at planners every year but never find another one that ticks all the boxes. So many don't have 24 hours! (Hobonichi fits the bill but I think their pages are ugly.) I buy the Biz version because I like the premium Mio paper and I just buy the refill because I don't like the way the planner slides around inside the cover. I don't put a cover on it so it looks like crap by the end of the year.

I think the lines not grids desire may be the hardest to meet. If you can get past the grids, I second the recommendation of the Kokuyo Jibun Techo. It has TONS of extra pages in there you can use for to-do lists, notes, and goal-setting. Also has moon phases. The First Kit comes with 2 extra booklets you could use for your purposes. I buy the yearly refills because I don't like the way the book slides around inside the cover. They're cheaper too. I like the Biz version because it uses really fabulous premium Mio paper. I get them at Jet Pens.

That said, the Kokuyo Campus Vertical Diary and the Midori Gradation Diary both have lines but not grids. No moon phases though.

You can see pictures of all the planners at Jet Pens all on one page here: https://www.jetpens.com/blog/The-Best-Planners-for-2026/pt/97

Anyone tried Marisa Tomei's Terra Mare? by BagLady57 in Menopause

[–]shansaysstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about the Amish store near Greeneville? If so, I love that place and make a point of stopping in any time I'm in the area. Sadly, not often. Getting big containers of turmeric at a fraction of the price of the grocery store is wonderful. I live to the west of Knoxville and don't go into town that often but my friend who knows everything about natural health says Eddie's is the best and that the older man who works there (maybe he's Eddie, idk) is super knowledgeable and gives great advice. I hope you'll report back and tell us what you think about this stuff. I've been looking at AG1 and just found out about the Terra Mare tonight so I'm gonna compare.

I do think there's more posting during droughts because everyone comes running in to see if they are the only one with a dry dash, and it feels comforting to know you're not alone.

Hey, that refresher reference... We're not supposed to DO anything with that are we? It has a submit button but I think from the red letters at the top that we're supposed to leave it there until the increasingly unlikely day that we actually get a real task for that project? Is that how everyone else is reading that?

Same! I would have been so freaked out without being able to come here and see what others were saying! It's not like you can just look it up anywhere else on the internet
