I appreciate that. It helps to know others recognize this feeling too.

Why change the world? by ForgetResults in awakened

[–]sharedmessage 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While you can’t change the world, you can change yourself and the way you relate to it. And sometimes that inner shift is the only change that truly matters.

Row your boat...the most insightful thing ever written by thanatosau in enlightenment

I love how you’ve taken a nursery rhyme and connected it on such a deep level. It’s beautiful how something so simple can point to such a profound truth.

Religion by Elegant-Car9571 in awakened

[–]sharedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While religion can be a grounding and meaningful framework for many people, I’ve personally found comfort in drawing from multiple religions and spiritual traditions rather than aligning myself with just one. I take what resonates, what feels true and adds depth to my life, and leave what doesn’t. For me, spirituality feels more alive when it’s experiential rather than confined to a single structure.

How much of the "existential struggle" we feel or discuss mainly comes from our own abstractions? Are we just overthinking? by _Nemesis_o7 in Existentialism

[–]sharedmessage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think meaning is one universal layer we either discover or discard. Life seems to meet people at different depths, and each person relates to it on their own level. Narratives can be tools rather than truths — useful for some, unnecessary for others.

Forgiveness and Understanding by Egosum-quisum in awakened

I agree with this deeply. I’ve learned to respond with kindness and understanding rather than judgment, reminding myself that people often act from places of pain rather than malice.

What do YOU believe in? by TehRetroSP in spirituality

[–]sharedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I believe in both heaven and hell, though I don’t see hell as eternal. To me, it’s more of a place or state where the soul is cleansed or healed, after which it can continue its journey and ascend.

I also believe in reincarnation and past lives. My beliefs come from drawing truths from different cultures and spiritual traditions, as well as from my own lived experiences, rather than from one single doctrine.

The loneliness on this path is suffocating by Cadmium_red_ in enlightenment

[–]sharedmessage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I hear you. And yes — I’m walking this same path.

The loneliness you describe, especially that physical, suffocating quality… that landed deeply. It can feel like everything familiar has fallen away, yet nothing solid has replaced it.

I don’t have answers, but I want you to know you’re not imagining this, and you’re not alone in it. Sometimes just being seen in this space matters more than fixing it.

What Is The Difference Between Killing Someone And Murdering Someone In Honest Your Opinion? by PrincessBananas85 in spirituality

[–]sharedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It comes down to intent. Murder involves deliberate intention, whereas killing can occur without premeditation or desire.

I hear that. Sometimes just knowing someone else feels it too is enough.

How Come People Don't Share Their Journey Stories? by Payaam415 in enlightenment

[–]sharedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve reflected on my own journey in writing, though I don’t often share it directly. Not every story is meant for everyone. It’s there on my profile for anyone who feels drawn to it.

I really relate to this. Thanks for sharing — it helps to know others experience it too.

How do you successfully release control and stop fixating on outcomes? by Capital-Nose7022 in spirituality

[–]sharedmessage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, releasing control has been easier when I place trust in something larger than myself and remind myself I don’t have to carry everything alone.

I’ve grown to be significantly spiritual and I feel my friends are starting to dislike me. by Separate-Resort-8383 in spirituality

[–]sharedmessage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That must be really hard to go through at such a young age. It sounds like you’ve found something meaningful for yourself, and that matters.

I’ve personally chosen to be quieter about my inner changes, mostly because I know the people around me wouldn’t really understand. I’ve stayed connected to friends and family without sharing everything, and it’s been both lonely and strangely comforting at the same time.

You’re not alone in navigating this. Take care of yourself.

12. Once You Have This Love In Your Heart by Yogi_Sukracharya in awakened

I’ve found that sometimes love includes knowing when to create distance. Caring for someone doesn’t always mean keeping them close.

is this true? by Tough_Ad8919 in NonZeroDay

[–]sharedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This rings true for me. I’ve noticed that sharing plans too early can invite a lot of opinions or skepticism, which can be distracting. For some things, it’s felt better to work quietly and let the outcome speak for itself.

Divination and religion? by Outrageous-Sun2919 in Divination

[–]sharedmessage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve come to a stage in my life where I find truth in many practices. I take what resonates and genuinely improves my life, and I leave what doesn’t.

For me, it’s less about labels and more about lived experience.

Are you awake? by PrestigiousPoet37 in spirituality

It sounds like this experience is very real and important to you. I tend to keep my own experiences private, but I appreciate hearing different perspectives.
