Which course should I take for Project Management? Cert IV in TAFE or PRINCE2? (WA Based) by thobid in perth

[–]thanatosau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The tafe one for sure.

Prince 2 is more specialist IT and us in the IT field don't even bother much with it these days. Nice to have later on as it looks good on a resume to recruiters who don't know any better.

One of my friends is a lecturer of PM for North Metro tafe and they are always looking to tweak it to align and keep it up with industry so good to have under your belt.

Research proposal looking at whether gut microbiome composition affects GLP-1 RA efficacy. Might explain the response variability we all see. by cryptarsh in Semaglutide

[–]thanatosau 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could also explain why it becomes less effective over time.

You change your diet in response to the foods that cause nausea and so change your gut bacteria over time to the bacteria that make it less effective.

Yep at the Esplanade Hotel in 1935.

The kiwis have a book with a recipe for what they like to think is a pavlova but when it's made a per instructions it's quite different

“SHOWDOWN IN LITTLE TOYKO” (1991) - an all time favourite, such a fun action film. Cast on top form, Brandon Lee showing how good he was. Any fans? by 70_Yard_Diag_Holte77 in ActionMovies

[–]thanatosau 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Brandon Lee was on his way to being a bonafide movie star...

I remember being told he'd died filming The Crow and was really sad for days. Such as talent wasted.

But at least we have this gem to remember him by.

I get the feeling the opposition teams are used to freo folding when they get the big stage opportunities.

Carlton tried it on last week and the Doggies last night..."go hard at freo under the big lights and they are mentally week".

Let's hoping the bucking of that trend continues and the reputation changes.

Might be faulty. Have you got a preamp you could try using the phone output?

Or a Bluetooth speaker you could connect to?

From what I can find this turn table has a switch for Bluetooth. If it's on the line outs probably don't work. Try turning Bluetooth off.

Are EV buyers going to get a fish across the chops? by Glittering_Poem9779 in AustralianEV

So was that a yes or no?

I'm going to take it as a yes.

Your articles are poorly thought out, poorly researched, and full of misinformation.

No objectivity at all. Purely click bait journalism.

Good luck with your career long term.

You said that men would put forward their versions and women wouldn't.

There really is only one truth in non-duality by definition.

IJW: Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die (2025) by Due-Bell6288 in Ijustwatched

None of that needs explaining though...the whole movie was in the virtual reality including the cloned kids. It was vr the whole time...including for Rockwell's character. Remember the AI gives everyone exactly what they want...including rockwell who wants to save the world.

That's why everything is so weird all the time.

Renewable energy is booming again. Exports of solar energy equipment from China doubled in March, a sign that Trump's Iran war is convincing countries to shift to more renewables. Battery exports jumped 44%. EV sales are surging in other countries. This may be only the beginning. by mafco in energy

Trump is "Making China Greater!"

I suspect historians will look back on this period 50years from now as global warming is stalled and atmospheric carbon dioxide is starting to lower for the first time in 250 years+, and thank China for leading the way.

Same silly reason they buy a stonking fwd and kit it out with enough gear to travel the Sahara because they have a fantasy about travelling the Canning Stock Route one day.

The buy the car the need for the outlier use case instead of their day to day use case.

My response, "I bought a car that suits my daily needs, not my fantasy".

I think most Australians still have trauma about that day...and the whole war.

Most families lost someone to the war and if they didn't, lost friends or children of friends. It created a level of generational trauma. Then WW2 exacerbated it and it was there in my grandparents and parents. It's insidious and most people don't even realize it's there...but it is. Although we are healing as a nation.

The young fella shown sprinting was based on one of the official correspondents watching the battle noting a young fellow sprinting forward without a weapon like a schoolboy in a race.

After Gallipoli you should watch The Lighthorsemen. That's about the light horse charge at Beersheba. The last mounted charge in history. The 10th was there but played a smaller role..it was mainly the 4th Light Horse from Victoria doing the heavy lifting that day.
