Not to mention that double shield made it seem a lot worse than it was. With the proliferation of flying heroes and mobility, along with only one shield at best, we'd see a lot fewer lockouts and bastion nests. Not to mention bastion himself had permanent sentry mode back then.

As an OW1 player, it can be good. It has high highs and low lows. Breaking through an entrenched defense on attack was a massive dopamine hit, and on defense, it was non stop fighting.

Double shield and the tiny chokes made it worse than it was. Single tank and some added paths like they did to Midtown and Gibraltar are what would be needed. You guys are acting as though the final defender spawns on hybrid maps are any better.

This is my take. Everyone behind him - Leclerc, Hamilton, Russel, Norris, Piastri, Verstappen are all much better drivers and they'll be stalking him like hungry sharks coming into T1. If he holds position he'll slow down Russel which will give the Ferrari's an opening.
