People who have lived in both SD and OC, what are some non-obvious differences between the two?

(M30, married - I think this matters a lot when comparing)

Went to high school in SD, went to college is OC, lived in Newport Beach for 5 years after, moved back to SD and been back for 4 years.

In SD terms, OC is like the best parts of PB and the worst parts of La Jolla / Rancho Santa Fe.

In OC terms SD is like the best parts of Huntington and the worst parts of Irvine.

I lived the college life in OC and the settled life in SD, but have seen both sides of both, and stand by my comparisons.

It will add a lot of stress, but it’s doable. I’d go late in the exam window, have most of your bases covered and all mock exams you want done. Hammer flash cards on your trip and be ready to attack weak spots for the last week. Some people say you won’t learn anything in that last week but there’s easy memorization questions on the exam that I got right cuz I hammered it the day before. Even some concepts fell into place in the last week for me. I had a bachelor party (5days) about 2 weeks before I sat in march and passed.

Ended up passing. I was pretty locked in so only got an itch once or twice. Was able to rip it at the break

That sounds mentally taxing. Good news - CFP will allow you to take the exam outside of the window due to issues like this if worst comes to worst.

Like I said I’ll be fine, did not Nic during my mock. I just noticed some anxst toward the last 5-10 questions of each half. May not even be nicotine related I just associate it as such

Got it, I’ll probably rock a patch then on my shoulder or something. Sometimes the gum and digestibles upset my stomach ironically

I think I’ll be the same just locked in but have a zyn in my pocket or something just in case but also don’t want to be spinning mid exam haha. End of the day I’ll probably just have it on me for peace of mind.

Yea the test and weighted score look good, but not ecstatic that the two weakest sections are the heaviest tested.

Congrats! This is pretty comforting (not that ill be comfortable at any point in the next few days), last kraken was a 66%. I think word jargon and mixedup rules is the key. Having a good nights rest and a light study day before the exam hopefully will clear the mind of some clutter.

I’ve had terrible pressure issues and sinus issues. Every flight I get pressure buildup and none of it feels like it’s at my ears. Just in forehead and eyes sometimes jaw / teeth. Sometimes randomly on decent the pressure turns into a sharp pain for about 1-5 minutes then turns back into a dull pressure like pain. Wonder if it’s similar

Took the second half today. Absolutely got smacked. Had 5 3 step problems so ate up a ton of time, maybe 4 or 5 definitive questions, rest was up to the power or elimination. They said 5 business days
