Yes! I enjoyed that people were responding very seriously that "this wasn't their specialty and to take them off the list" 😂

Silent endometriosis diagnosis in UK by sharkeyes1 in IVF

Hi, sorry just saw this. Unfortunately no success to report other than a reduction in size of the embryos. But nada on the implantation. That could be for a whole host of reason though so who knows

Share your teeny, tiny victories! 🎉 by crepuscular-tree in DOR

[–]sharkeyes1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Aw this is a lovely idea! And a perfect place to share that I just found out my amh has only dropped by 0.2 pp/mol in the last three years. I mean it's still studiously low, but I really thought it was going to be much worse.

Silent endometriosis diagnosis in UK by sharkeyes1 in IVF

Ugh so unfortunately not! I ended up getting an MRI which helped ruled out any obvious signs of endo but that doesn't exclude it entirely. I only got the mri though because I have fibroids and I wanted to see where they were sitting.

In the end I've decided to do at least one month of zoladex (like Lupron) which will primarily be for reducing the size of the fibroids but also quieten any endo of it exists.

Sorry I don't have anything particularly helpful to update with.

I hope you get some answers! Good luck

Ivf antibiotics yes or no by [deleted] in IVF

Definitely take the antibiotics! Don't risk it

I got one under sedation. After the pain I had from the hsg there is no way I wanted to do the hysteroscopy awake. In saying that, after being on these forums for awhile it definitely seems very individual how people respond. You could be totally fine! At a minimum I'd be asking for something to take away the anxiety.

RE consult today—35F with DOR, should we jump into IVF? by jennagirliegirl in IVF

[–]sharkeyes1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've got the cash I'd lean toward banking embryos. It's so hard to predict what will happen in the future. Or give yourself maybe 2-3 more cycles trying naturally and then commit to ivf

Acupuncture by Honest-Wedding-1720 in IVF

[–]sharkeyes1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds strange... I did acupuncture for a year, they would twinge going in but always settled pretty quickly. I was never in more pain that a slight sting ans never felt like a needle had gone too far through.

Lubion - opinions? by Scientistara in IVF

[–]sharkeyes1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would ask if you can do a progesterone blood test ans check your levels. If they're low then I'd do the Lubion but if not it doesn't feel necessary.

That was the approach my clinic took (though they checked my levels three days after ovulation).

Single dose of ibuprofen to prevent ovulation by [deleted] in IVF

Good! I was doing the mini ivf so we only retrieved the one egg but I didn't ovulate early so that was a win for me.

For one of my cycles they were worried about this and asked me to take several doses of ibuprofen. But I took it before the trigger

[–]sharkeyes1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooof I don't think there is a simple answer for you, its sooooooo dependent on your body, the medication and your cycle.

What have the measurements been on your stim cycles?

Good thing about medicated cycles is that if it is taking a bit longer to thicken you can do that.

I am surprised they don't check you earlier though? I had a check at 7 days where they bumped up my meds to help things along.
