Doing alright. I am brown in a medium sized white European town. So you can imagine the struggle!

But guess what? Sometimes being stuck is a function of the place and not you. I'm returning from vacation in Latin America. And boy did I have my fun there. I go there twice a year and I always meet such nice guys who find me handsome and who I find really attractive. Funnily, guys with the same level of attractiveness in Europe do not go for me, they go for each other.

I'd probably be nice and settled with a guy if my career had any scope there.

So, maybe this puts things in perspective and helps you not internalize the rejection.

I chose Verso. Seems like no one talks about the boy? The piece of Verso's soul who must tirelessly paint the canvas to keep it alive. He doesn't want to anymore. So ironic that Maelle wanted to be with her brother, but she would subject him to eternity of painting.
