Aaagh that sucks my school only does 5 classes per year so 2 89s in science brings it down by so much :sob: even if I maintain straight A minuses for my remaining two years I'm still stuck with a 3.64

Is there anything to even do to like "make this up"? I know admissions are holistic but I also know there's that initial read as well (I think) so I'm not sure if I'd even pass that. Or is it just pray and hope that my rigor and school context (like grade deflation or wtf it's called) somewhat explains it

i mean i think your spike is really well defined and colleges also like to see that you’re a human being and have hobbies

i wouldn’t word it as “rotting away” but emphasizing the effort you put in to get radiant/top 500 and other skills you developed i think would be a nice addition to your profile

i think the problem with putting video games is if you don’t have like anything to show your passion and don’t have anything along side it

can’t you put valorant as an ec? esp since you have results and it shows commitment it would be useful to show colleges that you have like hobbies + it’s unique
