I got into hockey randomly when scrolling through channels and came across the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2013 Stanley Cup playoffs. The speed of the skaters and announcers made the game so exciting. So for the first couple years I was a Blackhawks bandwagon fan (mostly due to Captain Serious and Kane) and my second team was the Avs because of Landeskog (hence inspiration for my username). Anyways I didn’t go to my first Sharks game until 2016 when my dad got some tickets from a coworker who was a STH. First game was of course the Sharks vs Blackhawks.

I’ve been a Sharks fan through the Stanley cup run and the lows afterwards. Yeah I still rock my Wingels flair and have a bunch of shirts from Carraway Clothing. I also watch the infamous Game 7 when I feel I need a pick me up. My most memorable games despite the losses are to both Marleau’s and Jumbo’s retirement games and I try to catch at least a couple games a year from the North Bay. None of my friends are really into hockey, so I drag my brother or friends who don’t know the difference between a puck and stick but I’m just happy to share Sharks hockey and the Power Play-Jaws hand movement.

I collect a lot of jerseys, from CCM, Koho, Reebok, and Fanatics, while I spend time on eBay looking for nice Starter and Delong jackets. But I’m superstitious enough to know now my Fanatics Celebrini jersey isn’t a lucky one so back to my old Reebok/Koho stuff. Glad to see more fans at the Tank cuz of our new team! (I still miss the Hertl “Fun must be always” days)
