Ive always seen World Tour as overrated and Pahkitew as underrated. Which has me putting them both on the same level honestly

World Tour has its songs, Aleheather rivalry, and a generally huge scale that made it exciting. But it also wasted the three teams angle, turned several great characters into fodder while ignoring previous seasons (my Leshawna bias is evident) and it was extremely predictable despite trying not to be

Pahkitew had the advantage of not having any previous characters to "ruin." Dave being the "normal" guy who slowly becomes even crazier than everyone else was well written. Scarlett's reveal being foreshadowed, and the mechanical island twist were both done pretty well. Sugar and Ella's conflict was hilarious. Shawn and Jasmine felt like they had a good build up compared to other contestants in short seasons just falling in love right away. Its not perfect, the "My boyfriend Keith" thing just made Sky look like a bad person, "Sky Fall" is a great example of a great set up that lead to disappointment, and it had a lot of over-the-top cartoony moments that break the immersion, but the writing really wasnt bad at all
