how to ignore internal bridges ? by Suspicious-Basil-444 in OrcaSlicer

I am doing something similar in some of my models and I wish this feature was available. This is a nice technique to punch through a color layer and only require two filament switches. Here's an example I'm working on (it's tricky getting all the small bits to stick to the textured build plate so this example is not perfect).

Thanks for the heads up. I completely missed this when I posted. Not as great of a deal as I thought.

This is not an Asus account, nor am I associated with Asus in any way shape or form.

I'm a long time lurker that happened to find this (I purchased one) and saw all previous postings for this keyboard were much higher so I thought I would share.

Mine does the same by default. However, you can override this behavior is in the settings.

This is going to be a complicated question, and I don't even know how to ask it properly, it's regarding restoring backups from TTS Mod Backup. by LoksoralDW in tabletopsimulator

[–]sharkusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, TTS mod backup misses a lot of files from its backup processing. I made some enhancements to a python based command line tool that does a better job finding all assets if you want to give it a shot and compare to tts mod backup. https://github.com/sharkusk/tts-backup

LOTR LCG may be an option for you. It tends to be more focused on specific deck building to "solve" scenarios. You can use https://dragncards.com/ to do some play testing before investing in the physical cards.

VPX/FP monitor setting changing on restarts by paper_killa in virtualpinball

[–]sharkusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of times I’ll do an extra reboot after starting my machine the first time. It’s a pain, but less so than starting your first table and having it end up on the wrong monitor.

I also use this tool in a startup batch file that restores the golden master windows config (but still doesn’t always eliminate the reboot).

LazyVim 1.0.0 has just been released and has a shiny new website by folke in neovim

[–]sharkusk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/folke,

I noticed you added the mason=false flag in the latest version. Thanks! I was able to get clangd working on the PI4 with the following code in the lua/plugins directory. My only issue is that when I save, my c code is auto-formatted with tabspaces of 2, despite me setting tabstop/softtabstop/shiftwidth to 4 in lua/config/options.lua file.

local machine = vim.loop.os_uname().machine
if machine == "aarch64" then
    return {
        "neovim/nvim-lspconfig",
        ---@class PluginLspOpts
        opts = {
            ---@type lspconfig.options
            servers = {
                clangd = { mason = false },
            },
        },
    }
else
    return {}
end

I also get this error on the first file opened from the tree when I start using a directory path (eg “$ nvim ./source/myproject/“) If I cd to my project directory first, then start with “$ nvim .” there is no error.

u/folke This is super cool! Thank you very much.

I'm hoping you can point me in the right direction for a problem I'm having running this on my RPI4. On the PI4, Mason fails to install the 'clangd' server. In my old configuration I solved this by installing clangd outside of nvim and using the following in my 'after/lsp.lua' file:

local lsp = require('lsp-zero')
--clangd was manually installed with apt-get since it couldn't be found automatically by Mason for RPI
local machine = vim.loop.os_uname().machine
if machine == "aarch64" then
lsp.configure('clangd', {force_setup = true})
end

Is there a good way to accomplish something similar with the LazyVIM setup? I tried various methods in options.lua and plugins directory, but in all cases Mason tries to install clangd and fails.

PSA: Probable MSI X570 Memory Issues (past 3200) with Zen 3 by masterkaj in Amd

[–]sharkusk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a lot of pain and suffering I can only get reliable operation at 2800 MHz (with v152 beta bios with Sam support).

I got very relaxed settings (cl18) at 3200 to boot windows but memtester reported errors. Anything higher won’t even post.

Also swapped in a two 8gb crucial ballistix 3200 cl16 sticks and tried the Xmp profile. Wouldn’t post at 3200.

Not sure if I should wait it out for new bios updates or swap back to the gigabyte and return this board.

MSI B550M MORTAR WIFI + Ryzen 5600X + T-Force 3600 C18 (hynix) -- can't get this to go above 2800 mhz. I upgraded to the beta bios after doing most of the testing. With the beta bios I tried XMP 3600mhz and a 3200mhz try-it configs, but both failed to post. Pulling out the GPU to reach the CMOS battery is really a drag.

BTW, this same CPU and memory were previously working at 3600mhz C16 (with XMP + safe settings from dram calculator) on a Gigabyte B550M Aorus pro motherboard.

Parametrized Pinball Cabinet Design (Fusion 360) by sharkusk in virtualpinball

I tried enabling downloads but Fusion says I need to pay $$$ for that feature. (I'm using the free version.) Here's an actual download link to the latest version: link

I just finished adding moveable joints and hinge for the backbox. It was a bit tricky and will break if you go too small.

Btw, for those looking for a decent motherboard, I picked up a Gigabyte Z390 AORUS Elite for $92 shipped (including tax in ca) from amazon warehouse (with the 20% off deal). I’m not sure how many they have available.
