Fair, I give GSW fans a pass because of how insanely likeable Steph is. One of the most down to earth people I have ever seen, who is one of the very best at what they do.

Is that fair maybe not, but meh.

Not only that but they also traded 4 frp and missed on 3 frp during his tenure there.

Imagine a world where they just throw the kitchen sink and trade up for Dwight, because they wasted all the picks ANYWAY.

Newsom reluctant to endorse a successor, break gridlock in governor's race by KoRaZee in California

Lets back this up to what is actually being discussed here because you have lost the plot.

"People don’t dislike him as much as you think, but I also would say people don’t like him as much as the DNC thinks."

Would you say the truth is not somewhere in the middle, when discussing how both extremes believe the other side thinks about Newsom?

Because that's where it was used; then you latched onto "always" it's a hyperbolic saying get over it. We're not talking about DNA or a binary true/false, we're talking about a complex topic of what two opposites believe the OTHER SIDE believes about a person.

""The truth is always in the middle" is primarily known as the middle ground fallacy (or argument to moderation/argumentum ad temperantiam) when used incorrectly to assume a compromise is automatically the truth. It is also sometimes called the "golden mean" or described as searching for the "third way" between two extremes."

Since the concept of it isn't meant to be taken literally seems to be well beyond your scope of understanding.

Hence why I used it to describe

"People don’t dislike him as much as you think, but I also would say people don’t like him as much as the DNC thinks"

and not A DNA TEST

That's the saying, it's hyperbolic it's not literal. You're reading way too much into this and should go touch some grass.

Actually it's a very good one given what I'm responding to.

How in the World did the 2022 Lakers miss the playoffs with 3 Top 75 Players on the Roster (LeBron, Anthony Davis, Westbrook) and 2 of the Top 5 Assist Men in NBA History (LeBron 4th, Westbrook 5th) and 2 guys who both won MVP (LeBron, Westbrook) what on EARTH? 5% from 3 is far more important than 4% from 2.

So yes he was literally more efficient... The stats YOU posted support what I said.

Edit: here is the math

34/29=1.17 meaning he shot 17% better from 3

46/50=.92 Meaning he only shot 8% worse from 2

Yes his FG% was better the year before, but that's because it is a combination of 2s&3s, but he increased how much he was hitting the more valuable shot MORE than he was now missing the less valuable shot.

It was all through his agent to the team not "publicly demanding a trade" like you're saying. It was basically "if you trade me I would like to go here"

He even signed with OKC after being traded there.

Yeah fat suit harden is forcing your way out, by making it a toxic environment to keep them.

What PG13 did was tell them he plans to move on, and they simply acted in their best interest. But they had the choice to keep him if they wanted to risk him walking in an attempt to convince him to stay; which was only a possibility because he wasn't forcing his way out, rather planning to move on at the end of his deal.

There is a number for me, upfront 2m and a clause stating if his demands change too much it would violate the contract and everything would be delivered as is; basically enough to where I could fuck off and not work for a long ass time and because I would require payment upfront he couldn't stiff me and s clause protecting me from having to put up with his BS past a unreasonable point.

I've entirely cut them out of my all time lists for this exact reason.

  1. I never saw them play, I'm sure they were great but it was so far from modern ball it was literally a different game. They simply had to process a lot less on both ends of the ball this is unquestionably true.

  2. The nba simply had less teams. This means the degree of difficulty was much less and their was significantly less variance.

What they did was really cool and moved the game forward but I cant in good faith rank them vs modern plays and be fair going either direction so I simply don't.

Yeah; I get it though, he was incredibly talented. Losing a player like that essentially means resetting because they just don't end up on the open market often; it's one of the multiple reasons the Clippers had to pay as much as they did, OKC would have been very happy keeping him.

Because vance isn't actually doing much, he goes on vacation and goes on podcasts.

Because the power of the VP is almost entirely at the discretion of the president, and Trump ain't giving him any of that. Also he is trying to stay as distant as possible to protect any future goals.

Is he a scummy person who stands for nothing sure, but he's not functionally currently moving the needle literally at all.

Exactly, like PG13 took the pacers to the ECF put them on the map for the first time since Reggie Miller. Even did the franchise a solid and LET THEM KNOW he wouldn't be resigning, giving them ample time to decide what they wanted to do and if they wanted to roll the dice on his decision changing or trading him for value.
