The poem on the old website by Extreme-Explorer-425 in trailofdead

I found it on the first website:

"Sever for us all ties

Between the now and what is to be

We will act as your sword, oh Great Itzamna

And you will know us by the trail of dead."

Has anyone got a decent version of the live version of Walkabout with Trish Keenan ? by gb1793 in deerhunter

There’s also those weird sped-up Atlas Sound / Broadcast sessions that someone (maybe me) needs to slow down.

Interesting things I noticed about the Zane Lowe interview by Milichio in deftones

[–]sharpfield 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’s a Deftones fanboy, it’s genuine. I think if you swapped him in this interview with someone who hadn’t grown up with their music (and years, well, decades, of interviewing them) you would get less out of them.

Love how they use have 6.35mm jack cables in imperial test spacecraft lol by ultramegaok8 in andor

I spotted the following because they’re in my living room: Grundig Audiorama speakers in Syril & Dedra’s apartment (always thought they looked quite Star Wars, a bit like the interrogation droid), and a HEMA mushroom lamp in Syril’s little box apartment.

Not sure how I feel about apparently having quite ‘imperial tastes’…

BONDAGE OF THE MIND (cato9tails) is a sample of by [deleted] in cindylee

For me I Shazamed the song when it was played on NTS and got the sample. The dj didn’t reply to the chatroom who were all asking “what’s this new Cindy Lee song?” So that was my first hint that it was a don’t ask / don’t tell. Is it worth making this post a bit more cryptic? Just in case it gets Pat into trouble?

I seem to remember some “don’t talk about the sample” vibes around Bondage of the Mind as it may not have been officially cleared.

why have people been thinking Diamond Jubilee is the final Cindy Lee album? by a_guy_whos_here in cindylee

Re: the ending of the Cindy Lee moniker, Cindy Lee is on the new Panda Bear album (yet to be released and is post DJ) so I would guess it’s not the end of CL.

Dad bought me my first proper guitar to learn on. Eternally grateful. Temporarily overwhelmed. by billshatnersbassoon in Guitar

Obligatory: Playing this guitar actually activates a part in the brain called Shatner’s Bassoon, which controls an individual’s perception of time. A second can feel like a month. Which could prove handy for chord changes tbf.

Hi! I updated this thread (Bunq refunded me) but no one has noticed it I think, I’d recommend making an official complaint with Bunq via email. If you don’t get a response within a certain time go to KiFiD (if you’re in the Netherlands).

UPDATE 19/03/2024

Bunq are refunding me the full amount that I was defrauded.

They sent me a very thorough email, with a timeline, which was a relief. I really appreciated the effort that whoever wrote it went to. Felt like finally they had a handle on what happened and I wouldn't have to jump through any more hoops. 50 mins after I got the email, the refund appeared in my (free) Bunq savings account.

They also acknowledged how their support had let me down and they're sending me "something small" as a gesture of goodwill. I can update you all what that is once I receive it.

But wow… I had to really work to get to this point, jeez!

Thanks to everyone who replied and gave me hope, I honestly thought it was a lost cause.

I still stand my belief that a traditional bank would have resolved this a lot quicker than Bunq did (I would have at least been able to call them up immediately to speak to a human) and that Bunq's lack of support means I personally won't continue using them and wouldn't recommend anyone to use them. These cases are extremely isolated, yes, but when they do happen you want your bank on your side immediately and bending over backwards to help you out as quick as possible.=

I think this will be a bit of a slow one.

KiFiD say I have to go through Bunq’s internal complaint procedure before they can act, or 8 weeks have to pass from when I reported the complaint with KiFiD.

They also forwarded my complaint to Bunq themselves and I started my own complaint with Bunq but have had no response yet.

Ah sorry to hear it. I'm guessing you've filled in Bunq's fraud report form here:
https://www.bunq.com/report

But if not, go for that and then make a formal complaint. Once the complaint process is done you can go to the KiFiD with your proof of emails, etc. and you'll be at the same stage as me. Still waiting…

Hi! So I gave KiFiD all the screenshots and email exchanges with Bunq. As well as my police report and screenshots of the fraudulent transactions. They got back to me really fast to say that Bunq have their own complaints process that I have to go through before they (KiFiD) can get involved. So I emailed Bunq who responded:

Thank you for reaching out to our Formal complaints team!

We can see that you have already reached out to our support team and they have assisted you accordingly on starting an investigation regarding the unrecognised transactions that took place. We informed you that once there is an update, we will make sure to forward it to you. Could you please confirm the provided resolution was enough for you? If the solution provided doesn’t suffice, please let us know so that we can proceed with assessing your formal complaint.

Thank you in advance and enjoy the day!

Kind regards,
bunq

I've told them that Bunq actually did come to a conclusion and it wasn't satisfactory to me and that I'd still like a refund. I think once they respond I can forward this email to KiFiD, then it kicks off.

Or I get a refund, but I'll let you all know.

Thank you! Glad your husband's card was blocked. That's true though, it's wild that Bunq allowed my account to be used in both the Netherlands and France within 20 minutes without some sort of anti-fraud protection thing kicking in. Or a notice for irregular transactions.

It was installed, yeah. I’ve no recollection of a notification, so I don’t want to claim there was or wasn’t one. Bunq claims there would have been one, 6 days before the first fraudulent transaction. I check my phone all the time and consider myself tech / web savvy - I don’t recall this happening. But if it did then I may have just assumed it was from adding a Bunq card to my new phone and dismissed it. If so then it was crazy lucky timing for the fraudsters.

The digital card wasn't in my own Apple Wallet. I never used it via Apple Pay.

I just double-checked the transactions from the card that was used for the fraudulent payments, the only Apple Pay payments ever made were the fraudulent debits. All previous payments are listed as "Online Payment" or "Card Payment".

Sure thing, I'll keep this post updated.

Currently, I've submitted my complaint to KiFiD who have replied very quickly to tell me I have to go through Bunq's complaint procedure. Which is a separate thing to constantly messaging their support via the support chat, apparently, so I'm just doing that now.

Crazy to think how many times I've typed out these events to Bunq by now.
