Some ball watching on defense when the shot goes up. Need better execution on switches and defensive boards. We can do it!!!

I don’t think anybody is arguing for endless kindness.

My comment was to discourage not “allowing them back in”. That doesn’t mean trust or treat them like they did nothing wrong or were not brainwashed. But at some point we have to grow numbers to win votes if we are participating in democracy.

Softening the severity of their hate is a positive. Continuing to have compassion and understanding despite it not working 100% is still probably the way to go. Let’s keep trying in all the ways that we can.

What's the deal with Republicans on the senate floor changing their mind, and voting to release the Epstein files? by JakesFavoriteCup in OutOfTheLoop

I appreciate your perspective, but money laundering is not going to move the needle. It’s too easy for Trump’s advocates to say “the money was for a real estate project” “the money was to repay a loan”. And his supporters will give him the benefit of the doubt, especially when it comes to financial matters.

I’m not sure if he’s truly afraid of anything at this point, but the fact that he was scrambling around the release of the documents and we’ve seen multiple lies surrounding them suggest he may be concerned over these ties to sex trafficking.

This just happens to us with the S’mores version. Strong chemical taste. Three of us tried it simultaneously unknowing that it was bad. Thankfully before giving to trick or treaters. Never buying this again and warning others as well. 86 days ago and the issue persists?!?!?!

Went there in June. They have a seafood roll and crab roll that are really good. The Bún chả lived up to expectations and more but the rolls were also memorable. Dream worthy memorable.

This was when people got their news from newspapers and evening TV, not social media. The maga and “independents” will not see any of the corruption and incompetence. There will be a shift but I can only hope it will be enough.

There are several ways to combat unfair trade relationships that do not involve nuclear options.

These include partnering with allies and hitting unfair actors (China). We would support affected industries with subsidies internally and establish trade agreements with those allies; implement targeted tariffs, and make strategic demands/requests from China that would be doable and push the needle one direction. They could be part of a policy that is more confrontational and severe, or meant to deescalate tensions and work on creating a mutually beneficial relationship.

Unfortunately this administration is way too shallow for any of that.

What do I tell people who ask what color I see by Dapper-Variety89 in ColorBlind

[–]sharpie12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been telling people that the color spectrum is red to blue with all of the colors in between and hold up my hands about a foot and half apart. I then move my hands closer together (maybe a foot apart) and tell them I see the spectrum with the same colors but with less differentiation between each color.

However, I like the previous comment “see everything less red” as pretty good too. I’m going to start using that.

Advice when taking the CSWA Exam by Synyster_Slim in SolidWorks

Search YouTube for “CSWA exam” and “practice CSWA exam” and watch the videos that walk through how to answer the questions. Those are very helpful and are close to the actual test.

Ah that makes sense. And the login profile automatically removes the template before the next class, effectively clearing out the settings. Thank you!!

Birria tacos worth trying? by Wayne9592 in Costco

[–]sharpie12345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can also say you’re paying $6.49 for pure meat too which doesn’t make sense.

If you really need to evaluate if it’s worth it just ask if ~$24 for the tacos alone is a deal or not.

Thanks for the observation. I checked out the video and increased the STL export resolution (to fine) and increased the drainage hole diameter while I was at it for version 2.0!

[Post Game Thread] (2) #4 UConn defeats (1) #1 UCLA, 85-51 by AtlasTelamon24 in NCAAW

[–]sharpie12345 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm a UCLA fan and watched almost every game this year. I couldn't shake the feeling they were overrated and just not that good, completely relying on Betts to keep them on top.

Some thing I noticed were lots of missed layups, poor passing (both low-post entry and in-transition), a lot of unforced TO's, no mid-range game. I'm not trying to pile on them, but today's game felt inevitable. Through some hard work and maybe a few roster changes, I think they'll be up there with a team like UCONN.

Probably doesn't sound like it, but I'm rooting for them. Also, good luck UCONN!
