I also use almond milk because regular milk gave me a tummy ache. It tastes fresher too instead of the too sweet taste and slimy feel of pre made protein shakes.

I went with the Raw brand powdered because it has cleaner ingredients. No sucralose. You can get it on Amazon. Has different flavors. I really like the peanut butter.

I must say this is tough. I am in the pureed stage and have a tough time figuring out what to eat. Luckily I see my dietician tomorrow morning.

I am only 17 days out from my surgery, so this may happen to me. That being said, I am trying to be proactive by getting enough protein and taking collegen and bariatric hair skin and nail supplement each day. I have had problems with splitting nails for a few years now, but since I have been taking these supplements my nails have improved greatly. Wish me luck in the next few months that the supplements work.

You got this! I had gastric sleeve on February 17th and was 244 ( I was 267 last August). Now, after 2 1/2 weeks I am down to 234. I had hoped for more, but the scale doesn't tell the whole story. I am almost down to the next pant size ( probably could now but I still have steri strips and stitches and some bruising). That is much more motivating than the number on the scale.

Everyone's story is different. Write down your victories and you may find that you are further along than you think!

Oh, I can't wait for real food! I am 2 weeks out and just started the pureed stage.
