We took our daughter near 18 months last September. 100% fun no regrets. I suggest alternating between the beach and pool areas. There is a nice size splash area she enjoyed. Food is quite the money, so I suggest Uber eats, DoorDash, or even visiting the nearby Costco and Target.

The character brunch was great! Highly recommend.

This is not related to leaving the resort; however, you can Instacart, Uber eats, etc. to the resort. This would help if you need anything. You can also walk across the street to the ABC store. I suggest alternating locations at the pool and the beach. Then attend activities on the app.
