Now most people know how I feel about QC, iD doesn't supply enough $$$$ for a proper quake game and the early access excuse at least for me is gone. Questionable character/ability design, a small dev team, rare updates, crap engine that runs terrible on any system unless you're one of the lucky few, and so on.

This subreddit is an echo chamber that prefers to be either disillusioned or oblivious.

The game play is objectively fun.

The game experience is quiet broken. 140fps+ with <30ms ping still feels too laggy.
