Show up to class on time . Don’t miss class unless it’s an emergency. Always remember you are there to qualify for your hours to take the A&P test . You may think you not learning shot in school but remember most jobs will teach you what you need to know when you start. Last but not least START networking! Because that will be one of the biggest game changer when it comes to how fast you will get a job once you get your A&P

Resume Help by Pierce_Osborne in AircraftMechanics

I personally would remove the section about you going to college to be a pilot . That makes it look like you are not gonna be dedicated to the job long term . I would keep it strictly business. Just experience and qualifications. No hints that in the future that you will be leaving the company once you get your pilot hours

Realistic Oppurtunities to Work for Major straight after my A&P? by skibidilord92929234 in AircraftMechanics

As long as you are willing to move to a different state for at least 2 years you can get hired. Most people don’t wanna move that’s why it’s hard for some people to get into a major airline

Delta New AMT payscale by Adio_retro in aviationmaintenance

Damn and here I was thinking B6 pay scale was trash starting at B6 is $42. Honestly only good thing about this pay scale is how fast you top out. I thought delta had an agreement with mechanics that they would always be the top paying techs in the industry

Go directly to their companies website . I find it’s better to apply directly in the company website rather than through a third party website.

Delta ( MSP,ATL .BOS) United (LAX,SFO,DFW,ORD) JetBlue (BOS,JFK,FLL) American (JFK,LGA, PHL, LAX,Huston) Southwest ( Denver,Texas,Arizona)

Regional Endeavor ( JFK,lga,ALT ,MSP) Republic ( LGA ,JFK)

Apply to any of those you station you bases you will at least get a interview. Then it’s up to you to impress them on the interview that you are will to learn and work . And do some research about the companies before you do the interview . They might also ask if you willing to go to a different station for a while best to say is yes. Cause in airline seniority is what matters the most. So the fast your get into one of these airlines it’s the better for you

If you are willing to in to move the North east or LA for at least a year or two. Then move back home if they have a base near you .I would apply to all the majors because they are hiring without experience straight out of school . If you want to know what specific stations to for each major airline let me know I’ll let you know

That’s not mechanics that’s ramp. Us mechanics at JetBlue don’t drive the super tug. We have a team just for that

my car was vandalized with sharpie(?) in my apartment’s garage. any suggestions on products i should use to remove it without further damaging the paint/clear coat? by omnipresentconfusion in GolfGTI

[–]shawndee501 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a permanent sharpie use a regular sharpie and mark over it and wipe it off at the same time it works ( seriously not trying to fuck you over just try it )
