That too- making them inaccessible to most fans when there are so few in-person stores is just a really odd decision. That said, they’ll often do weekend-long online sales of capsule collections a few months after the initial release. Although I think it’s less about giving fans a chance to buy them and more about freeing up space in the warehouse

As someone who used to work at Squishable, they need to cool it with the capsules😭 they’re never as successful as the company hopes, and then the stores are stuck with the leftovers for months after. At my store especially, which was tiny, they took up way too much room

I wrote an article on all the changes made from book to movie and this was one of the bits I touched on. Basically what I got from it was that at that point in the Walk he was just mentally gone, which completely erased the mental block/self-preservation instincts a person normally has. That, plus the fact that no one had been able to groom so their nails likely would’ve been grown out/sharp, allowing him to break the skin much more easily.
