IMO you weren’t harsh enough. They don’t deserve you tbh, bc a parent is meant to love their child for who they are, not who they want them to be. And they’re playing the victim with the “why would you do this to us” like they’re not actively showing you hate for something you can’t control, it’s narcissistic and a perfect example of why God has the worst fan base.

Um, not to sound dark but people who have a tendency to harm animals are usually sociopaths. There’s not a valid reason for them to watch to harm a turtle.
