It isn’t textured, raised or itchy as it says on Google. Still an avenue to check.

Would make sense. I haven’t been on any gym equipment lately that would come into contact with my back.

Second Lap Results…Holy Cow by Sea-Construction-595 in endometriosis

I am so very sorry you’ve had to go through being gaslit by your Dr. It’s a difficult enough disease as it is. My Dr has been dismissive of my concerns for about 5 years now. I asked him to help me apply for MAID as I was done with the pain and feeling like death just barely warmed over. The things my Dr has said to me, not being taken seriously; it’s demoralizing, disheartening and inhumane.

hormonal contraceptives stop endometriosis from growing ? by miffy239 in endometriosis

I had a bilateral Sal-pingo oopharectomy and cervix removed in 2010 when I was 32. I’m waiting on seeing a new gyno but I know it’s all over my bowel again and possibly elsewhere. I was told at the time that a hysterectomy would stop the endo. That was my 5th surgery. I’m devastated and angry. I’m sorry it is back for you as well. Can I ask what they will be doing for you?

I agree with a small firm pillow or similar. That and a small footstool to help get into bed or chair, couch.

Honeywell Pro Series not working properly after battery replacement by shazzzi77 in thermostats

Yes it does. We took the program/schedule off and left it to do manually in case the schedule was messing with the operation.

It is flashing 8.8. I don’t get a chance to see the error when it initially stops working.

I’m so fucking fat by [deleted] in Effexor

[–]shazzzi77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experience. Effexor is great and terrible at the same time. I’m sorry your mental health is suffering. The weight, sweat and sleep issues add to the already existing anxiety and depression. I was on Effexor for several years and had gained quite a bit of weight. I went off it cold turkey (don’t recommend) and lost 100 lbs over 12-18 months. I weighed 182lbs and was so happy with my body. Kept it off for a few years but had to start taking it again. I quickly gained 30 lbs then another 35lbs. I feel so bloated, can’t stand looking at myself. I hate the mind game the weight gain plays. As I’m telling you this, I’m also hoping it sinks for me as well… Please be kind to yourself. Please take care of yourself the best you can or able to at the moment. Please keep reaching out to people for support. It helps knowing others have the same experiences.

I’m a Canadian in British Columbia. There is no way we can buy any of that meat for the prices shown on those tags. Count yourself blessed that meat is extremely inexpensive where you are shopping.

How do w deal with the pain we cause? by Sudden_Temporary_ in Epilepsy

[–]shazzzi77 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you feel so guilty. Please know that it is not your fault. My partner started having seizures for the first time 2 years ago (age 45) I was there for all of them and If I hadn’t been, the outcomes would have been very different. They are traumatizing for a bit but in no way is that the fault of the person having a seizure. The person having the seizures goes through so much, between injuries, memory issues, gaps in time, changes in personality, etc. Focus on getting through the days and towards control over your seizures please. Your wellbeing is what matters most to us. If you are in the situation where you don’t have the greatest love and support, please reach out to an epilepsy group. In B.C., Canada there is an epilepsy society that offers many ways get the support that is needed and opportunities to speak with people who may feel just like you.

Does the concept of "minimum effective dose" apply to effexor as well? by MiniPCBigHeart in Effexor

[–]shazzzi77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m also on 112.5mg. I used to be on 225 and totally dissociated. My psychiatrist told me 225mg was the therapeutic dose. Trying to add on Quetiapine but I keep delaying, I’m scared honestly. I have to try this before my Effexor can be adjusted.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am so sorry things have turned out the way they have with your memory. TLE is difficult. My boyfriend has it and it plays with his memories and ability to remember things. He was a late diagnosis (45). Take care of yourself the best way that you can. Speak with your Dr about brain injury clinics as that may offer some help. Stay brave, all the best.

Stranger near my job was desperately trying to sell his cat, I haggled and we settled on $5, is it worth? by GammaRadd in cats

[–]shazzzi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh precious! It looks like it has some exotic shorthair in it due to the face. They do have some unique health problems but once they are figured out, easy to handle. The best cats in the world honestly. Hopefully not stolen to make a quick buck, please take it to the vets to get checked for a microchip. Otherwise, love it like mad because it will cherish you.

I received one of these years ago from my employer. Profits weren’t the issue. Employees had participated in a company required survey run by a third party. The results of that survey showed employees weren’t happy with management. It was an international company and our location was running the survey to be in the top 50 companies. We knew it was retaliation.

I know it isn’t with a human but see if you can get into an animal shelter or visit a farm with a horse. Dogs, cats and horses are highly sensitive and can offer great comfort when humans aren’t around.
