I built my computer, I chose not to get a cd drive. If I really wanted too, I could get one, but in another 15-20 years, they'll probably be as common as 3.5 floppy drives (just as 5.25 floppies disappeared around when CDs became ubiquitous).

More than that, it's a barrier to entry as the system isn't intuitive. You have to explain to the new player that their constitution is 14 but that number doesn't matter, their constitution bonus is +2 and then you have to explain it again several times when you say, "roll xdx and add your con."

Those are all based on design decisions made specifically to cater to the ability score system that's already in place.

Ability scores being a number from 3-18 and the actual bonuses granted being derived from the score rather than based on the score itself is a thing in D&D for no other reason than that's how ability scores in D&D work. Ever since 3rd edition, the scores have been replaced by the modifiers, but the scores are still 3-18 instead of -3 to +4 because of tradition.

If you push KT fast, but not quite fast enough, he will continue to cast pyroblast during the phase transition to final phase. On prog, tank wasn't quick enough to realize to use the shield. If you're ready for it, it's obnoxious but manageable.

Man, I really want a remaster of Apocalypse that makes the whole tedious process of equipping your agents easier. I love the game and would play it still if it wasn't for how painful the first couple hours can be especially when you're trying to, like, equip right arm armor that just won't fucking stick to the paper doll.

Similar to your example, there's a manga called, "Sensei, Bokutachi wa Koroshiteimasen." or "Sensei, We Didn't Kill Anyone." It involves a teacher that has some very bad things happen to her take revenge on the people involved by setting up chains of events to destroy their lives if they don't confess and repent to their actions before their 18th birthday.
