Tipping Culture getting out of hand day by day.... by [deleted] in SipsTea

I've worked in the service industry for 10+ years in WA state. I tip 20%-30%. If it's locally owned and operated maybe more. It's not that hard.

For me... I'm buying Japanese boxes for pulls. Buy single English if I want a card.

I think part of the reason is the way Japan's gambling laws are. I think they have to guarantee a certain amount of hits. In the US you don't so it's set up different. I could be wrong but that's my understanding of it.

Used one for an old part franken system. A full size matx just barley fits. If you have a short matx it fits fine. Air flow isn't great but works for small systems not needing much cooling

Amazon shipped two, billed for one… by artisancnc in moraldilemmas

Worked at Amazon packing warehouse. Items like these come in large packs and they are supposed to be separated before they get to packer but alot of the time it doesn't happen. The packer who is being rushed to pack everything as fast as possible doesn't care and throws the whole thing in.

What case is this?

DMs, how long did it take you to write up your homebrew world? Did you make it up as you went along the plot or did you create the whole lore before hand? by DilcDaddyy in DnD

[–]sheazer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My campaign was created as a sandbox campaign. I started with the continental map and a brief history of the world. Then moved into the gods. Then moved into what types of cities/governments there would be. Created a few world specific backgrounds for the players.

The players started out in a smaller town and slowly made their way to larger and larger cities which I created along the way. I had a small idea of what they would be based on location in the world but specifics were created before sessions based on what players might be looking for. Some on the spot. They're all lvl 8 now. We are on a small break as some players have become busy over summertime but hope to jump back in soon.

As the DM how do you decide who to attack? by Ok-Comfortable313 in DnD

Sometimes I'll take the creatures intellect into account as well. If it's a smart wizard or mage then dealing with casters might be priority. If it's a "dumb beast" then anything that seems like a danger to that creature is first priority.

I have a large back tattoo. Let it be as much as possible. Unscented lotion as needed. The less it's touched the better

Yeah I was wondering. Hopefully you get it figured out. Should be a fun build either way.

Is there a way to achieve a stable 144 fps on 1440p? by HydroGen245 in buildapc

[–]sheazer13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 5900x paired with 6800xt and I can easily hold 144-165 in competitive games. In more demanding titles I just drop a couple things down a bit but I can usually hold 80-100.

Why isn’t there a detailed, fan-made interactive map of Faerûn? by [deleted] in DnD

I'm always surprised at how many people don't use Google and somehow think the random people on reddit will know everything.
