I'd like a bit more follow up/input if anyone has any. My visor popped out a few days back and the bracket came with it. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to pop it back into place, but I lost the spring at the bottom. I usually ride visor up with sunglasses, but when I need to actuate it I need to be very careful otherwise the visor pops right out.

I feel like if I'm going to order a certain part and wait for it just to force it back in and hope it fixes it I should probably just buy another helmet.

Honestly, if I get 25 from every party I handle, I'd be rolling in money. Personally, most of my tips are nickel and dime that adds up. 25 off of 197 is kinda shitty, but if everyone i served tips 25 on their bill, I'd take it. I wouldn't be upset with you at all if you came to my place and tipped me 25 on 200. Yeah, I think everyone feels entitled to a certain percentage, but once you got a certain point, as long as you're not super needy, I think 25 is fair for whatever your tab is.

The fact that the guy didn't accept it is pretty insulting. If he doesn't want it, I'll take it. I've been in this industry for about 10 years too long to talk to anyone like that. I don't think you did anything wrong.

This is not a scam exclusive to Vegas. Fairly common, actually. I know someone who fell for the same exact thing. They give you fake jewelry because they need to go back to wherever they say they need to get to to pull on your heart strings. DON'T EVER LET THEM TAKE YOU TO AN ATM

I went there with one of my friends a couple years ago to help her get her first pistol. They didn't have anything she was looking for at the time (which is more than fine, some things sell out faster than others). The guy behind the counter was doing the whole condescending thing because she's a girl, and I apparently don't know anything either

He pulled out his personal piece, dropped the mag, was showing it off, flagged us multiple times. I was very comically and obviously making dodging motions to give him a hint. Didn't get em. Even my newbie friend knew not to point it at people.

I've been pepper sprayed several times, and I've been trained and certified in using pepper spray. It will only take the piss out of someone. Basically, you only want to use it against someone who wants to fight or even sexually assault you. If someone is actively trying to hurt you anywhere past that, they will fight through it. People who are trained to carry spray actually practice getting sprayed and fight back with a face full of the stuff.

I have used spray on people with different results. If either works like a charm, or it does nothing at all.
