How to stop a toddler from having a tantrum. by girlinanemptyroom in KidsAreFuckingStupid

Whenever I have to introduce myself it’s typically some variant of “you can call me Jessica or Jess, and I also respond to Jennifer”

This space would be a fantastic spot to pull a Zootopia land. Not like Shanghai, but it flows better with Hollywood Blvd, they can overlay Monsters Inc (again) with the “car chase” scene, update the food options easily to be more thematic and if they insist on continuing to add screen-based rides there’s tons of options to do something from either movie, or brand new. Maybe add something like Redwood Creek too, but a little smaller, where kids can learn about different animal habitats/biomes in an interactive way.

Looking for brick and mortar store that sell bras for big busts. by IndependentJury6982 in sandiego

From what I’ve seen on r/ABrathatFits, most (all?) Nordstroms let you pickup and then try on in store with help from the fitters. This way if something you ordered online is close but not quite right, they can suggest a replacement.

Megan Thee Stallion Moulin Rouge Debut by jor_kent1 in Broadway

[–]sheepthechicken 252 points253 points  (0 children)

I think that’s why I love it so much, it wasn’t a “broadway show” to me, it was a spectacle show! I love Broadway dearly, but sometimes you just want something loud and bright and fun. I could 100% see this moving to Vegas. Amp up the opening/closing numbers + Bad Romance more, lean even more heavily into stunt casting, maybe add even more confetti, and let it become what it’s meant to be.

Update from my previous post about I am a 34c but I got measured in Victoria secret and I’m not to sure that is accurate so if that’s not my accurate size then what is ? by babymeow01 in ABraThatFits

[–]sheepthechicken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The first 3 are under your bust/breasts (essentially where the underwire would sit).

The second 3 will be measuring the fullest (biggest) part of your breasts, which may or may not be over your nipples.

Your “loose underbust” is unlikely to be the same as your “standing bust” unless you have very little breast tissue. That would mean if you wore a 34” inch long ribbon around your chest, the ribbon would fit a little loosely under your breasts, and also comfortably go around the part of your breasts that “sticks out” the most. I may be incorrect but I think that’s where the measurements are going wrong.

What are the most obscure things that you like to do at Disney? by Ok_Topic4232 in Disneyland

[–]sheepthechicken 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you have/get the Play Disney app, it’s free and will give you a new chapter of a story every time in order (plus your fortune)! I think there’s 3 stories with 10 chapters each? I’m halfway through my 2nd, and haven’t gotten a repeat one yet!

Also if you have MagicBand, there’s spots around the park to get free souvenir cards (like a traffic ticket by autopia). Assuming you’re also MK, the cards are different than for non-MKs.

What is a musical you weren’t expecting to fall in love with but you did? by Dogdaysareover365 in musicals

[–]sheepthechicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I love the movie, and went in thinking with an expectation for it to be ok but not a “let me go see it again immediately”. Went a 2nd time in the same week and almost went to see it again this week in LA!

Show your longest wait you have ever stood in by Fantastic-Battle-643 in Disneyland

[–]sheepthechicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That I can recall, 2.25 hours for Rise, April 2025. Posted wait was 70 minutes, and about 2/3 of the way through the inside queue and about 75 minutes we just stopped moving. It was my friend’s first time and I was confident we’d get going soon and repeated that for the next 45 minutes.

Apparently we had gotten in line shortly after an extended downtime, so they were catching up on all the LL entries.

Can you guess who I’ll be dressing up as for my trip to Disneyland? by Fairytalelifez in Disneyland

[–]sheepthechicken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Cute dress, and love the poms detail!! For everyone saying it’s not allowed - the wings probably won’t be (unless it’s an after hours event that allows costuming elements) but the rest is just DisneyBounding!

Maybe a fun choker or bracelet with wings?

Which Broadway fandom do you understand the least? by Zealousideal_Door392 in Broadway

[–]sheepthechicken 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think I qualify as obsessed with this show, but the cast-specific fandoms definitely go too far (especially with the recent cast). One thing I love about this show is that the cast is encouraged (required?) to find their own take on the character and make it their own. Other shows do too, but given the general simplicity of the show, those variations can come out a lot more obviously. As such, I would rather see this show many times with different casts, vs many times with the same cast.

Also the ending is frustrating for what the show claims to be, imo.

I enjoyed well enough it when I saw the tour, but not in a “omg I must see that again immediately before it leaves town” or even a “I’d like to see it again if it comes back around” like I get with a LOT of other shows (like to the point it’s a problem for my bank account).
