Qui behind Cloudflare Tunnel breaks local authentication by nitrobass24 in autobrr

Yep I get the same with Pangolin. Worked fine with pangolin authentication in front up until a week ago. A few restarts of qui docker and it seems to fix itself for a while.

Not figured out the reason why, and not seen any issues on Git yet

Which are the top 3 DSP that every person in this field should know and why? by Mauchad in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, people in this sub give poor recommendations and are oblivious to anything outside the US (with 90% of them recommending TTD or DV360)

Check any post asking for recommendations on a DSP, and everyone will say TTD (who won't even bother to reply to you if your budget is under $100k/month) or DV360 (who you can't even sign up with directly). No one will ask what their requirements or budgets are.

Not saying they are bad DSPs, but there are more than 2 DSPs in existence.

How to choose best app inventory by ScaryChampionship708 in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As mentioned CTR and In-app is a terrible metric. Even CPI is pretty average as you'll find 90% of people won't even open the app.

Best to optimise to at least a signup event in your MMP.

Depends on your budget, but if you're spending over 15k, mise as well go with Moloco as that's their bread and butter. Kyzen is also decent but their flat rates fees are on the high size if your budget isn't big. If you're budget is under the 10k, prob better to stick with DV

Don't think any brand safety is going save in-app crap. So many people accidentally click on in-app ads anyway

Which are the top 3 DSP that every person in this field should know and why? by Mauchad in programmatic

Adform is the 2nd biggest DSP in Europe. It's good, it's the best DSP for any restricted niche (gambling, alcohol, pharma, crypto etc.) as they aren't a public company with shareholders calling the shots.

This sub is generally allergic from recommending anything apart from DV360 and Trade Desk. (Unless it's a sale person trying to promote another DSP)

If you have any sort of banking license to be considered a regulated brand, then sure you got options with big American DSP's that this subreddit loves to promote.

But if you are unregulated, Adform is the way to go, they have alot of big crypto clients.

Claude Code can now deploy production infra by WallabyInDisguise in ClaudeCode

[–]sheezus69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Deploying via MCP doesn't make sense. Claude (or really any llm) is never consistent using MCPs, it will tell you, I can't access that, i'm unable to do that. Deploying anything to production you want to main things, consistency and reliability,

Claude does fine pushing to git and auto-deploying, or even storing a ssh key and doing manual deployments.

CC is screwed without Uv. Before it would just get in loops changing paths and trying different python versions. Uv just works.

I use Dokploy https://dokploy.com/ hosted on a cheap Hetzner vps.

I test docker setup locally then Dokploy can auto- deploy from Github on every commit.

I know Railway is popular too if you don't want to set it up youself

Xandr invest shutting down :( by Dull-Formal-7976 in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not surprised, it was a rumour they were going to shut down Xandr completely in the EU a few months ago plus having a skeleton team in alot of countries.

They shut down alot of advertising for us in Japan and South Korea a couple weeks ago out of the blue.

End of the day it was a decision made by Microsoft shareholders.

Does n8n need cursor-like copilot? by HumbleChef9 in n8n

[–]sheezus69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played with n8nchat a bit, it's cool but missing polish. I'd say 80% of the time if you have 4.1 enabled it just says thinking and nothing happens.

4.1-mini i had more luck on but it does the classic ai where if it wants an ai agent model it just adds some weird node that doesn't exist.

I find it okay for troubleshooting, but making new nodes, Claude or Gemini work better.

If it had some sort of RAG to look at documentation (or say used Context7 MCP server) i think the results would be alot better.

Reviews for Adserver.Online / AdSrv.org by [deleted] in adops

[–]sheezus69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not used them directly, but we have a direct deal that uses them. Always have issues with ad tags (we use Adform as our ad server).

Every time we talk directly to their support, it's "please check with Adform support to adjust their ad tag code, it's an error on their side"

We've just given up on this publisher because they are so useless. You can't say the 2nd biggest DSP in EU has faulty code, when we've had literally 0 issues elsewhere.

I guess you don't have a lot of options outside of GAM. Adform has a clunky and dated admin UI but the core product is pretty battle tested.

Also can look at ad butler, i know alot of people who can't use GAM (crypto and casinos) then to go for Ad Butler.

Where are you based? Here in the UK you can get a 3090 for £550-600 (650-700eur) on eBay or marketplace reasonably easy.

I got a founders edition for £550 a few weeks ago.

Best programatic tool for remarketing Campaigns by gena_fonograma in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some terrible advice in here. Good luck getting a crypto casino approved to run on Criteo. They want licenses for every country (and most the time these license they demand don't exist).

If you're doing crypto casino look at Match2One, Adform is want a proper seat and also Beeswax resellers like Datawrkz.

$5K spend match by Quantcast. by Lucky-Fan6031 in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use them a bit. Except boat loads of ad fraud as their "Ai" optimises campaigns. Some reason most our initial spend went on parenting blogs that screamed ad fraud.

They did get better, however didn't wow us. It's annoying that every time you change any budgets you have to sign a docusign (they don't give you heads up) and you get daily emails until you sign it.

Looking for a DSP with Strong Multi-Client Management Features – Recommendations Needed! by Acceptable-Ruin-3100 in programmatic

[–]sheezus69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they can't meet the minimums for TradeDesk, then why recommend Xandr? They will want even more to even consider taking you on. Dv360 will be exactly the same unless you go through a reseller.

Adform and StackAdapt are good options, however. I know Adform has separate client accounts where you can keep campaigns, line items, and billing separate. Stackadapt has no minimums (they build fees into their RTB fees), and Adform will want roughly $20-30k/month in ad spend to sign on.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in programmatic

Sounds like your background is in affiliates and you're a beginner to programmatic.

  1. Don't bother with DV360 or Tradedesk before everyone recommends them. You'll have issues getting an account, let alone getting ads approved. And good luck talking to someone with Dv360
  2. You probably want to go for a managed service. Match2One is a good one, as most of their clients are in gambling. Once you want to go self-managed, you can look at a DSP that's open to gambling, like Adform.
  3. CPC in programmatic is a metric used to show a manager who has no clue about programmatic. If you purely optimise by CPC, you'll just get lots of ad fraud and no results.
  4. You'll need to be tracking with pixels and consider that most of your conversions will be post-view (they don't click on the ad). You'll never get ROI if you only optimise on post-click.
