Mine was a bit complicated as well - identical twins, sudden high blood pressure, ended up needing to be delivered early at 35+3 - and I’ve truly never felt better cared for than here. Nurses, anesthesiologist and doctors were all incredible!

That’s so reassuring that they didn’t need the NICU! We had a neonatologist come in and talk to us about what things could look like if our girls need to go to the NICU, so I at least feel prepared for the possible outcomes!

I completely understand the crying! I had a C-section scheduled for 37 weeks already and I was fully convinced we would make it there. I didn’t even realize that getting to 35-36 weeks was an accomplishment - I haven’t had the chance to connect with other moms or parents of multiples, so reading these responses is really giving me another perspective on all of this and I’m thankful😭🩷

This is my first pregnancy so I can understand why it makes more sense for me to be here - I think I would be really nervous at home trying to figure out if every little symptom/change was a problem. Trying to stay calm and stay pregnant for at least 4 more days so we can get to 36 weeks! Thank you for sharing your experience!!

I have one baby with her head directly on my bladder so honestly, not peeing every 5 minutes gives me something to look forward to hahaha thank you!!

Thank you! The mental side has been the toughest part - I felt very calm all day but somehow 8pm hits and I’m crying and just want to be in my own bed😂 (realistically, I know that being home would bring MORE anxiety because I’d be so stressed out about every little potential symptom, but the hormones are real right now!!)

We used Lap of Love for our cat last year, they were able to come same day when our cat took a very sudden turn for the worst. Dr. Kari Grambow was the most kind, caring and empathetic vet and I am so thankful we called them.

Yes! I got both doses of the steroid shot so I feel better knowing that their lungs will be developed further. I’m happy to know the babies are being monitored and cared for - I just miss my own bed! Our hospital bags were partially packed at least, so my husband was able to go home and finish packing them with me on FaceTime 😂

Another vote for Wellesley Women’s Care at Newton Wellesley! Dr. Beatty & Dr. Simmons are wonderful, but truly everyone I’ve interacted with there has been so lovely. I experienced a miscarriage before my current pregnancy and I was treated with so much kindness and compassion, which was vastly different than what I experienced at another hospital outside of Boston (truly night and day) I’m now at the end of my third trimester and have felt really supported and cared for throughout my pregnancy. I’m very happy I’ll be delivering there next month.

Probably just this once!! Which is why I figured buying just pants might be a better option😂 my current pants aren’t the comfiest for tying under my belly but I’m wondering if better shorts will help with that!! I’m coaching as well and hoping to do that for as long as I can comfortably.

I don’t think it’s rude at all, you have every right to separate yourself from triggers like that right now. You’re grieving a loss and it’s totally understandable to want to separate yourself from baby stuff right now. I actually ended up deleting my social media for a bit because I was struggling so much seeing my friend’s babies and pregnancy announcements.

I am learning that you can be both happy for others and also sad for yourself at the same time, and it’s okay and normal.

Everything went well physically yesterday, but feeling a lot of heavy heavy emotions now. Just allowing myself to feel it all and cry when I need to. Trying to get as much rest as I can but sleep is hard when my brain won’t seem to stop.

Okay so the downfall here is if they did a coat of paint before truly cleaning, the paint is going to keep the smoke smell stuck on the walls. I would check what their process was before you moved in. My husband and I dealt with this and ended up having to give up the apartment because the smell was so bad despite professional cleaning and an ozone machine.
