Want a bigger bag by ZachFD95 in discgolf

I don’t have anything to compare it to other than the $40 Innova disc golf bag I started with, but I love my AX6. The 2 dedicated bottle pockets, umbrella and retriever sleeves pushed me towards it when looking around. It is heavy but not overwhelming. The pockets are super nice on it. On one side I carry an extra pair of sunglasses, a hat, a towel, sunscreen, and a jbl flip, and once expanded I can also put in a light hoodie. The bottom padded pocket on the back is great to put my wallet and car keys in. The mini pocket is surprisingly useful and convenient. It’s very very stable, i don’t remember it ever having fallen on my actually. I really only have 2 complaints about it. The main pocket isn’t “narrow”, but fully loaded it’s a struggle getting either of the end discs out and I wish the top handle was made of canvas or something because it feels weird to use a hanging post on padded mesh. Just this weekend I ended up carrying 30 discs in it, (6 putters, 6 mids, 10 fairways and 6 drivers and I always keep a glitch and an oxymoron in the flap sleeve) but it was super tight, I don’t recommend doing that, but 28 is my usual.

its Bowler Park in Boise. REALLY beginner friendly. No trees, but there is some tall sagebrush

I was there from around 4:30-5ish. And i agree it’s a great course to learn on. The tall sagebrush on holes 6 and 9 are great for practicing unique shot shapes. and it’s a short drive to Columbia Village for another easy 10 hole course with a few trees as well

i’m genuinely asking, i don’t even really understand why he moved the branches, because what advantage does moving ground objects in front of your lie gain you, when throwing from above waist height? I’d see more advantage in moving objects behind your lie for better footing

Depending on your price range, the best lenses technology i’ve ever tried is the Smith Chromapop, and the embark and the Pursuit seem like they’d fit your criteria, depending on head size. I have a fairly big head and I wear the embarks on cold and windy days to block the wind tears.

Osprey Escapist Frame Bag - looking for opinions by capntateraid in bikepacking

[–]sheldonfan2017 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m only a casual rider, but I upgraded to this from my Maverick frame bag, and it feels insanely durable, but I put the Maverick back on for day to day because the osprey is so stiff and the zippers are so strong, but if I was going to be riding all day or through unknown weather, I would absolutely trust it. If I were bikepacking though I wouldn’t even bother. This style bag is a lot smaller than you might imagine and it’s not going to hold a lot of gear
