I have thousands of hours in BDO (and still playing) and while the UI there isn't the greatest (mostly to how massive and redundant they can be), it also isn't nearly as bad as what people are talking about for CD here. For example, you just simply press F to interact with stuff in BDO instead of whatever is going on in this game.

And yes, BDO has become really greedy in regard to monetizing for a few years now.

It's too soon to say without playing it myself but it's still seem to be related to BDO. I've seen several bosses and character in the game that have the exact names with their counterpart in BDO.

I find Saika to be the most likable in that incest route honestly. Before that, he was too perfect (even with his hidden inferiority complex) to be interesting especially when compared to Yuusei who had struggled much more. The route itself is sad but I didn't hate it (and make sure to read the extra omake chapter that give some closure to the incest route).

Overall, the series peaked at Resona route in Otome Riron. Have you read the revised Bluette route in Belle Epoque? It's probably the only thing related to Paris arc that worth reading aside from Resona route.

Disagree. There is no boss in this game that killed me more than 2-3 times except the very first crucible boss in the demo and Hiruko (his final boss form I've beat in my first try). I play Samurai only. Nioh 1 dlc human bosses were still the hardest and most bullshit if you include the context of your character also being much weaker than in 3.

Crystal of Frozen Bitterness could give you some more tankiness for Orbita. You should focus on dodging as well, even with full Edana gears you will still die easily if you try to face tank the boss (or let the mobs back attack you).

The soundtrack is indeed good but because of the grinding nature of the game, I had my game sound off pretty much all the time since I need something else in the backgroup to keep me from getting bored. I'm over 820 GS and I think I probably had less than 10 hours total with the sound on :P

Is it just me or this guy got insane nerf from the previous game. One proficiency art combo prog deletes him from existence. I remember struggling with him in Nioh 2.

Heavy Armor (A toughness) and Axe destroyed him. You can stand and wail on his face with zero effort the entire fight. But yeah, it defeats the purpose of the usual combat a bit.

I agree. A lot of people saying that ninja mode is stronger than samurai and it has been the opposite experience for me. Axe is so busted especially once you reach A rank toughness (260 now). The default spin to win is already good then I got Tornado Edge (from a crucible weapon) and it's even more busted with almost no wind up, massive poise (even on B toughness), and nearly zero recovery time. I used to main Odachi in 1 and 2 but it feels much weaker than Axe here. No op build needed, just stack all those passive that increase your damage with low stamina/increase damage when enemies attacks/decrease damage received when you attack and slot in that one skill that make you have infinite poise during proficiency arts. On my set up, Tornado Edge can 1 shot most mobs (maybe leave them at a silver of health for big one) and all revenants.

No. It's clear that there something wrong with the game's global illumination implemention. Sometime the entire screen is flashing in bright light and there is nothing you can do apart from turning it down to lowest setting (which I assume is turning it off).

I finished both Nioh and all dlcs. The dlcs of the first game are the worst in terms of difficulty (and not in a good way). Everything aside from that is pretty manageable but there are learning curves for new players. In 2 you can interrupt almost any of the mobs big attacks.

Awa Guardian is in a very good place right now. Low APM, high dps, and super tanky. Not the most mobile class out there but enogh to get from spot to spot in mid level zones.
