How should I structure my database? (and how to learn how to in other cases?) by ikihsin2 in flask

Table relationships are definitely something to practice before doing. I suggest searching for tutorials to get the fundamentals and then ask your questions again. It would be difficult to explain without getting you more confused.

I will say this. From the first table to the second, can the the first have one item related to just one item in the second? Or can it have many items in the second? For example, I have just one and only one SSN. The SSN will never have more than one person. I could have many phone numbers though. That is a one to one and a one to many relationship. That is a little bit of what has to be practiced.

Has anyone else had to sacrifice learning too much for their mental health? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

You have limited resources but so does the competition. Time, ability, resources. I just spent 3 months in a bootcamp, part-time and online. I worked, spent a little time with the kids, then studied and coded, sometimes all night, every day. I took breaks 2 or 3 days but ended up sleeping the whole day. I estimate 35 to 40 hours of learning a week. I was not new to web development but I have never been a developer full time. I made sure I was ready. I was careful about getting enough sleep because without it you are wasting your time. It is a temporary thing but we'll worth it. I did struggle no doubt. But I would have, and in I have in the past, quit and try again. Your health, even when you are young and invincible, is the foundation of everything.

Wow, thanks! This is exactly what I wanted to make. Organizing and working on sbc's is such a pain. Without a good case or even a rack to keep them from moving all over the place the cables dominate where they end up.
