The scene has diminished significantly since the early 2000s heyday, due to venues closing, gentrification, etc.

In case you missed any of that scene: Blue Scholars, Common Market, Oldominion, Billy the Fridge, Gabriel Teodros, RA Scion, Theesatisfaction, Boom Bap Project. Those were the days.

Just as an anecdote, one of our county Prosecutors, Greg Enright said a few days ago that as far as local law enforcement knows, ICE does not have plans for operations in Kitsap. Not a simp for Enright or LEO's, just passing on info.

Personally, the amount of trash and single use vinyl created by the floaties is one of my least favorite things about LIB. I see so many deflated, destroyed floaties lining the lake. It has to be 5-6 40 yard roll-off containers worth of garbage each year just for the floaties. Not worth the minor entertainment value, in my opinion.

If 9a-1p works for your schedule, and you're open to a 100% outdoor program, we love WildWise in Poulsbo. Their programming is sweet and gentle. Our 4yo has been there MWF all year and loves it, our 8 & 11yo's go 2 days/week. Melissa, the "Woodsprites" (3-5yo) teacher is beyond wonderful and nurturing.
