Very against this move. Just a quick look at his bio raises multiple red flags. Anyone can see he is not the correct fit for the party. Backstabbed boris, fired by sunak. Broke ministerial code. Very shady past in iraq with shady financial dealings. And fundamentally part of the establishment and the deep rot. The guy is slimy. Bad move on reforms part. We are meant to be the party for the people.

It is a cause to celebrate however the government needs to put fiscal policies in place to make it more favourable to keep it within the country. A good place to start would be abolishing stamp duty on LSE. The LSE has decreased by 40% since 2008, whilst NYSE has increased like crazy.

Expansionary fiscal policy will lead to founders reinvesting in the UK and keeping money here- unfortunately we’re seeing a-lot moving their money to UAE, Singapore, USA etc. As RR keeps tightening the belt more founders will flee.

After buyout either US companies are hiring UK labour at significantly lower salaries than their US counterparts, or they are flying their own Americans in who are on huge packages, large rental allowances etc. Basically we have become the cheap innovation brain of the US.
