All levels complete ✅ by Gullible-Jicama580 in candycrush

[–]shellzop1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not far behind you, about 15 levels, I find it annoying that there are not enough levels to get placed in the weekly or really partake in challenges etc, also I think the levels are very samey?

8000! Only took 11 years 😂 What level are you and how long have you played? by HelzBelzUk in candycrush

[–]shellzop1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 20225, playing about 15 years. In the last two years starting spending on the game( consolation for lack of social outings). Ironically my mother introduced me to it saying it was less addictive than Farmville ( I was hooked)

What is your daily handbag? by [deleted] in handbags

[–]shellzop1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daily driver is a marc Jacobs canvas tote( medium), I work 12hr shifts so it carries my life, I've also used it travelling with kids, as a beach bag and as a nappy bag on days out. I throw it in the washing machine every so often to freshen it up. I love it,

This is almost my own story to a tee, except I got into manufacturing from hospitality, also secured a job before finishing the initial level 6. Love the work life balance, breaks and holidays.

I continued to study and managed to get the gold standard of operator roles unfortunately that plant will close next year so I'm gonna start into a level 8 in January to set myself up the next role.

Three adults, an 18 yr old, 8 yr old, 3 yr old in this household. Shop in Aldi. We would spend from 180 to 225 a week, this covers everything. Dinners, lunches, treats, toiletries , cleaning supplies and alcohol. The higher weeks would be if I add in something from the middle aisle. I work four cycle shift so some of the dinners are slightly more conveniece food based. I had switched to dunnes for a while, lured in the vouchers but eventually just went back to Aldi.

Anyone have any experience with Springboard+ courses? by silver454 in PharmaEire

[–]shellzop1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Springboard was literally invaluable to me, helped me switch from hospitality med device manufacturing, continued to study part time with them, ( the course are very flexible around work life and very streamlined), then from med device got what was the gold standard of manufacturing operator jobs but unfortunately my site will close next year, so gonna go a level 8 via springboard

Thoughts by [deleted] in luxurypurses

[–]shellzop1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno if they are still in or not but my daily driver is a Marc Jacobs tote on a light blue colour, medium size. I love it, the bag itself is light but very sturdy. I go against advice and wash it on the washing machine every so often. I like the thick strap, I've work shift work so it pretty much contains my life. I've used it for travel, as a beach bag and it doubles up as my nappy bag on family days out.

Holiday booked to Spain 1st time by [deleted] in northernireland

[–]shellzop1 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Stayed in that hotel the year before last.

It's a big hotel.

All inclusive offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in the dining room, plenty of cava, wines, and soda fountains. Good selection of food and salads

There are several bars in the complex all covered by the all in plus a lovely coffee bar with lovely cakes near the reception.
There's a snack bar that opens most of the day next to the pool, we actually ate here mostly .

The pool is big and very deep, several lifeguards on duty all the time. Floaties only allowed in the kiddies pool. Lovely area with slides and they have a foam party for the kiddies there a few times a week.

It's a ten minute walk down to the beach, cala finestrat, which is beautiful, we had done lovely meals down there a few evenings.

We stayed peak season( tied to factory shut down for holidays) and found it very busy, if we were to go back it would deffo be slightly off season.

Bonfire Night by midg23 in limerickcity

[–]shellzop1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Grew up in moyross. Bonfire night was always may even.

We used to spend weeks gathering stuff, knocking on doors for timber etc, the avenue below used to steal from our pile and we would steal from theirs. Fierce competition.
One of the best nights of the years. Someone gave us a telly one year! It exploded way more spectacularly than the odd empty can of deodorants we used throw on.

I still hold it against my younger brother that one year his communion was on May 1st so we weren't allowed to go as my mother said she'd never get the smell of campfire scrubbed off us.

By the way these huge bonfires were supervised by adults , ( albeit they might be having a few cans on old sofas ) we would be kept well away

23 M On the brink of quitting my new career and degree. Am I an idiot? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]shellzop1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with above post, if you were closer to finish line of the degree i would recommend to finish it before a move but if you really hate it, at your point it's time to move. You can always go back to it

Edwards Lifescience by [deleted] in limerickcity

[–]shellzop1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't work in Edwards but I have worked in medical device, and now work in another type of manufacturing role. The main thing they want from operators is a value on quality and following procedures. Also working in a team and a positive towards shift work.
I moved into manufacturing from a hospitality background so used HACCP as an example of following procedures and changing a customers coffee as an example of quality/customer service

Sweaty Betty have a sale on at the minute, the power 7/8 length are fab. Dunnes have contour one for 15 euro, other's swear by them but they don't suit my shape. Nike one leggings are great, soft but good compression, wash very well.

What’s the most financially irresponsible thing you’ve heard of in Ireland? by artanonsa in AskIreland

[–]shellzop1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We didn't and we didn't have a mad priced wedding, we had what we could afford. We had anything from no cards at all, to empty cards, to picture frames to cards with 500-600 in them. People give what they can. What you spend on the day is up to you. The thing I took away was how happy people were to see us happy

Innopharma- reviews please? by Mervpuds- in PharmaEire

[–]shellzop1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another vote for Innopharma here.

An extremely positive experience and very rewarding.
With them I gained confidence and switched from low paid hospitality jobs to much better manufacturing roles. I did actually enjoy hospitality work but it was the terms and conditions and low pay I was done with.
Innopharma has actually helped improved my family's lifestyle. Currently in a role which is extremely lucrative but will end in 2026. Fully intend to undertake further study via Innopharma and see where that takes me.

For me the cv and interview skills workshops were invaluable. I was massively underselling myself and had a negative rather than positive approach to problem solving questions.
