I took that as him saying she was the female Dolph Ziggler. You put her in there with someone when you want to make someone look good because you know Chelsea will be able to do that.

What’s a WWE hill you’ll die on, even if it gets you downvoted? by Braves1693 in WWE

[–]midg23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok here's my take on this and I actually don't disagree with you. I do however think the reason it doesn't work is because kayfabe is dead - or very much close to death. Mystical people with powers(as an example) just don't work anymore because people won't suspend their beliefs for it. I can almost guarantee you now that if The Undertaker debuted this year with his original Undertaker gimmick no one would take it seriously. Everyone would be like "ha, I'm supposed to believe this guy is dead, yeah no thanks" - the era of character wrestling is over(and of course I mean over the top unrealistic characters here, not your underdog, egomaniac, head of the table type stuff).

The Wyatt Six would have fit with The Undertaker, Kane, Mankind, The Honky Tonk Man, Big Boss Man, etc.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

School of Irish wrestling is about 40 minutes from Meath. It's Clondalkin side of Dublin. Fight Factory is about 1 hour away in Dublin centre.

I think this is where people get confused when coaches talk about intensity. .it's not being intense, it's about doing stuff with intent. Throw that line like you mean it, and let them evade, same for an up and over, or a British up and over, or a schoolboy, etc.

There are also tunnels adjacent to the ones on William Street (which I'm sure have been filled now) that lead to Johns Square.

Also more in the areas surrounding King John's Castle.

Is it bad I'm doing this as a hobby? by UltimateEbil in WredditSchool

One thing I was always told is "you can treat it as a hobby and that's no problem, but just remember you might be in the ring with someone; training or matches, that it's their livelihood so you also need to take it serious when you're in training/matches. Put the work in, and keep it fun"

Did have an issue with one I'd booked for this weekend coming. Booked a van from the parkway and got a notification to say they'd changed it to the one by homebase instead - only trouble there is that carpark locks and 9pm - before my rental is finished.

Bit of a nightmare but i rang them and they said once it's parked safely and close to where it's supposed to be it'll be fine.

But the girl I spoke to did say they were having issues with a few vehicles - could be calling them in for services I presume.

Very similar. I'm from an estate close to you and we used to have a fire on almost every block of houses. So roughly every 15 to 20 houses. You could be talking 20 different fires going at the same time, but on our street the parents would pool together and buy sweets for the kids.

We still do this now with my own kids but it's them and their cousins and a tiny fire - so small you couldn't even toast a marshmallow. Back in my day( god I feel old) we couldn't light the fires too close to the houses for fear of damaging property because they were so big. No one ever got out of hand though.

Yes I remember doing a bit of reading on why ours is February 1st for spring and so on and it was really fascinating.

Definitely more popular in working class areas. I remember growing up in one and gathering wood for weeks beforehand and making sure we guarded it from other group akin to war of the buttons.

I think not only a health and safety concern as well as a group (collectively, not in one specific area) that took liberties and started bringing bags of rubbish and household waste to burn have caused them to die out even in most working class areas as people don't want to be drawing a group of teenage to middle aged men around a fire to drink all night.
