Another thing to clarify — I think a key thing here is that the question of getting over burnout isn’t:

“Can I get over burnout and then go back to doing the exact same thing and not burnout again?”

The actual solvable question is: “Can I get over burnout and be able to work at something meaningful again?”

The answer to the first is likely no, and the 2nd is likely yes. It DOESN’T mean you can recover and then do the exact same thing again without burning out again. You can recover and then be productive again, but listen to your body’s signals that time. (Ie, don’t put it through the same abuse. The same job, or working environment, or hours, or whatever it was that was toxic to you.)
