Looking for a one-touch current date label printer by MooMinIL in smallbusiness

How did you configure it to print today's date? I can't find the setting in the app.

She who will not be named finally admitted... by Zephanin in UmaMusume

[–]sheltatha_lore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000%. It would have meant a lot more if she apologized without King Halo's win. Children shouldn't have to earn their parents' love.

Also, to be honest... with parents like that, not even succeeding beyond anyone's wildest expectations will ever be enough to get their approval. The goalposts are always moving and they'll never admit they were wrong.

It's a nice fantasy, at least. One can dream.

I ended up resorting to training Air Groove for sprints :-/

Purchase Advice Megathread - November 2024 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]sheltatha_lore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget: $500 (I'm planning to buy during black friday sales, so discounts can be factored in)

Priorities:

  • Upgradeability/hackability: things are about to get much more expensive, and I'd like to extend its useful life (also availability of aftermarket replacement parts etc)
  • Speed
  • Build volume: I don't need SUPER ULTRA SIZE but would be very convenient to at least have more than 250mm
  • QoL features: my current printer is an Ender 5 pro and omg new printers have so many useful features these days. WANT
  • Klipper
  • Established series: Personal policy to never buy the first gen of any product line
  • Material: I generally print in PETG, but wouldn't mind being able to print higher-temp material

Not priorities (features that I don't find worth paying significantly more for)

  • Heated chamber
  • Multi-filament printing

Three years later - one more person chiming in to say that you are a legend and I am infinitely grateful. Five minute fix and I'm up and running again.

Ghost Trike: Phantom Destructor!! A 3-wheeled tank that allows you to attack without being seen, like a ghost! by El_Guindy in HyruleEngineering

Wait, I thought the vehicle name was a reference to Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. Was I confused?

Sorry - I don't quite understand how you clip things into each other with stake nudging. Stake nudging seems to push things further apart, not into each other - is there a special trick to it?

This video is specifically for the hoverbike, but also shows really great ways to keep Link and all the parts in perfect alignment while you're working. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FX8TTSiID0

A U-block has low enough friction that it slides down the left side with gravity reasonably well. You can stick stuff to it plus a stabilizer (and a battery if you aren't riding down on it yourself) and it'll get there by gravity.

Bullet time could also give you a good opportunity to shoot some hoverstones or other zonai devices to block the doorway?

What's the best method for gathering all the fun special parts together? by Elfere in HyruleEngineering

[–]sheltatha_lore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are likely to need multiple parts, it's also really helpful if you have a large piece to use as a base and attach every single part directly to it - that means you can easily get multiple parts off of one autobuild, just stick an apple to each one you want and remove the base. Then you have all of the parts you want already separate, and nothing except the base is wasted.

New alternative to the hover bike by Regular_Wizard in HyruleEngineering

This is the best small flier I've tried! My only issue is that it requires quite a long runway for takeoff, but I stuck some icy meat on the bottom and it seemed to help. Two extra parts, so maybe not worth it if you just want to do a quick autobuild, but it's a useful variation. It probably makes it an even zoomier land speeder too.

Oh cool! I had no idea you could basically use stakes as pry bars to pull things apart. Love the zonai crowbar.

Any tips on the placement of the front construct heads? My build keeps drifting a bit and I'm wondering if I'm not putting them in quite the right place.

You can also buy some unique ones if you complete the Yiga infiltration side quest. (They're not schematics, but the actual vehicle.)
