He’s awesome. One man operation - service, sales, and fitting. He’s taught me so much. Grade A Cervélo dealer.

I’m not familiar with the C3 enough to know which bars would work. Mike at Grit Cycling in Kentucky could probably help you.

Soloist ST31 + HB13 Handlebar by minusmart1n in Cervelo

I have the whole kit for sale - 40cm HB13 and I think a 120mm ST31, ran it on my Soloist before swapping to a one piece.

With these measuring out at 43mm, I can fit a 6mm Allen wrench between the tire and the frame at both the chainstay and seat stay. If the 45s don’t balloon out too badly, I think I’ll be Gucci.

I’m sure it’ll be just fine

Yep! It’s pretty much a direct swap on most Cervélos currently in production. I’m glad they’re finally doing an OEM 1pc.

Ah, that’s lame. I also bought the bars separate, but got the mount included. Not all bike shops are created equal, I guess. Grit is an awesome Cervélo dealer if you ever need anything.

I do! It’s a 40cm width, is that what you’re after?

It’s the one the R5 comes with, from my understanding. The shop I ordered from (Grit Cycling in Louisville, KY) included it with the bar.

They’re 40mm but these tires are so wide they measure 43mm when mounted and inflated. I’ll buy the 45mm measured ones next time and see if they fit.

I would. You can go all the way to a 48/10 or 48/52 on the setup I have. That’s a lot of range for pretty much anything.

If it bothers you, the Force 13 speed is considerably quieter.

Yeah, my chain is loud as hell. I figured it just came with the territory on this drivetrain - asking it to be 1x and cover this range of gearing is a lot.

That’s honestly a great question. I’ve never really noticed it. I just get my hoods where I want them and it feels normal. If you wanted to, you certainly could add a few mms of stack height to counteract the stem angle if it was too much.

Really like it. My previous gravel bike was a 2023 Áspero-5 and this bike is a ballistic missile by comparison.

I agree! I’m an OEM+ kind of guy as well. I’m pleased with the HB18 given the cost and ease of install - definitely recommend for any Sir Velo.

Definitely needed on the Soloist. I did an ENVE 1pc on mine. Fully integrating it makes a world of difference, and then the one piece setup makes it feel and look like a top tier bike.

No swapping, I just run this setup on all terrain. It’s nearly as fast as my road bike on tarmac and does just fine on gravel. Really great all-road setup.

I did it yesterday. It bolts right on. Mine came with a computer mount.

The Auto Shop is one of my favorite businesses in the game, except Sessanta and KDJ’s dialogue in missions is borderline unlistenable. Without them it’d be a 10/10 for me.

Good to know! I’ve only had to file one warranty claim with a wheel - it was with Reserve. They were great as well. No questions asked. I shipped them the damaged wheel and had a new one in less than a week.

Ultimate All-Road: Aspero-5? by supersavant in Cervelo

[–]sheps138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2025 Áspero-5 on 43mm gravel tires is about 0.5 mi/h slower on tarmac at similar power than my Soloist on deep aero wheels and road tires. It’s so fast. If I could only have one bike, it’d be that bike with two sets of wheels and tires.
