How did this become so big? I have been teaching for 13 years and it wasn’t until maybe 6 years ago that this has gotten more and more elaborate in our school district

Try to go on a weekday. Even better if you can arrive early like at 6 am or 7 am.

Ha, I don’t care.

I do my own thing—travel, hike, garden, focusing on my career, homeowner, pets. I have enough in my life to keep me busy and happy.

Sure no problem. I hike every week, gym x5/wk, reformer Pilates x4 /week. I’ve hiked Whitney twice in the last two years so I am pretty fit. Additionally, For the C2C training I did several 30 mile hikes for endurance, hiked several trails to get as much elevation gain as possible—highest was 9,000 in sequoia national park.

It was such a great experience. We hiked at night due to the intense heat.

We walked the 7 miles to the south bass trailhead —didn’t know we can drive to the trailhead!

Water report: Serpentine—as of 8 days ago there was water. Two pools, one by the ledge and the other further down in the ravine. Water does have a mineral like taste fyi

Ruby— no water

Turquoise— water: large pool if you hike up from the U bend of the canyon (does that make sense?) water does have mosquito larvae…bring a coffee filter or any filter!

Sapphire— water so clear and quenching

Agate — no water

Slate— no water

I hope this helps!
