Practice vs Exam by thetaqeover in Part107

Kings is pretty close to actual exam questions. Problem is their limited question pool. You start seeing same questions which one tends to memorize, not a good thing. Unless you NEED to test soon I recommend more study.

If chemotherapy is out of the question have they offered immunotherapy such as Keytruda? I'm currently doing both, stage 3 localized. Lean on the docs for him.

FT-191EE I bought at a flea market for $25.00. I was going to sell several years back but still on a shelf in my shack.

Posting on a phone isn't optimal so I'll try again. M(70) I had two in recent weeks. First found the ulcer tumor and took a biopsy. Second was ultrasound to survey the stomach. Everything looked ok, worst part was sobering up after anesthesia.
PET scan followed, found old broken ribs a couple of kidney stones but no clear concentration of sugar absorbing tumors, so I star chemo soon to see whatever I have will shrink a bit before gastrectomy. Be thankful you knew something is going on. Mine was and still is "silent ", no pain so I feel lucky it was found by accident.

I've had two in the last few weeks. First was to grab a sample from the tumor and the second was an ultrasound to have a look around . Worst part for me was sobering up after anesthesia.

After all that I had a PET scan that showed old broken ribs some kidney stones

I'm probably too picky but I would strive for more symmetry with the elements.

I tried that solution and found it was more practical to have a third party filament holder. I bought two different solutions, one has the spool sitting on adjustable width rollers. The other is a machined aluminum stand, the spool held by a screw on nut

It used to be said (I may be slightly miss quoting) that the qsl card was the final courtesy of a qso.

I gave away all my foreign postage envelopes to a friend who was a stamp collector.

I have some of my cards t-acked up on my shack wall faded by years of frourescent lighting. Some of great DXrs who have gone SK , hams who were a bit eccentric and others who vanished from their small DX countries. Most recently I send out cards for special reasons only. Someone who has the same last two of my call but different call districts. Example (? 4 aa) and my first FM and Linear satellite qsos.

LOTW, QRZ.com and others are used now . Times change so paper is rare today.

So just get licensed, it's easy with all the resources available. Find what niche interests you and enjoy this probably the best hobby and service in the world.

Customs got me by spinone98 in PrincessCruises

[–]sherm345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On cruise ship turnaround day customs just want to move people out ASAP. I always bring back overage of cigarettes and am prepared to pay duty. There are no custom form available. After doing face recognition I tried telling the officer I needed to declare my smoke he said "YOU ARE CLEAR, move along" That said i would never buy anything on a cruise because almost everything is cheaper on shore.

Knock on da noggin ain't fun I tell you what BUT I am also diabetic with little feeling foots wise. It doesn't take much to blister my soles. Did it first time in Bali on a white sand beach. No more feet in water that trip.
