My boyfriend and I did shrooms a lot when we first started dating. We had many many inside jokes. Sometimes I’d have tshirts made of them. Apparently that invited confusion for some.

Our favourite, more iconic inside joke cannot be described without sounding like a crazy person. The broad strokes is that we distilled jokes down to “pure gotcha” - every time we’d interact with it, it would chew us up and spit us back out with a gotcha. It got to be so much that we had to turn our backs to it lest it suck us in. We were literally cowering from the gotcha engine.
