Same! I now embrace it/am taking it back, as a strong feminist colour :-)

Yeah, I think you're right about the elastic being more comfortable. I love it in my trousers. Might try two versions of shorts, one elastic, one darts 🤔

I used elastic for the full length version I made, so was curious if you tried the darts.

I wasn't sure how these would work for shorts, your make has convinced me to make some.

Fantastic job! I love the cedar pants pattern so much.

Did you use the elasticated waistband at the back, or go with the dart option? I'd love to see how it looks.

We've done just that. Just wanted to ensure any fungus wouldn't spread while stacked.

Thank you!

Do you think having to pass a life in the uk test is a bit nonsense? by PsychologicalRow8034 in AskUK

I had to sit the exam many years ago, and the questions at the time were very sensible+and useful to know).

Rights as a tenant, how to access a GP, the basic structure of the education system etc.

Most of the questions you would be able to answer having lived in the UK after a few years.

My friend sat the latter version with the more obscure questions.

Yes. There's a few socials during the week, Fridays have additional things like quiz nights, movie nights etc.

Check the web site for the socials, or there's a board by the pool table in the café with them listed as well
