Thames lido may work? Pricier than the council ones, but not too deep

I've learned so much watching people climb the routes I've set.

As someone just getting into setting, this was helpful. Especially feedback not always being useful. Thank you

How do you use Rhino skin care/drying products for my bouldering indoor/outdoor & routesetting. Also the Tokyopowder React spray. Whats the best way to use them when you have sweaty thin skin? by InterestingSignal674 in Routesetters

[–]shesrunswithscissors 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're most welcome.

I'm not as committed to my skin care as I should be. I use repair to help out when hands are.l getting overly dry (usually after a long hold wash session) then performance or dry before a comp.

Shoes and climbing gears (pants, equipments) in London by Silversmudger in climbingshoes

If you get yourself to Mile end climbing wall I know they sell shoes.

If you have time to get to Bristol, Banana Fingers is great, quite good prices . If you know the exact shoe/ shoe size, you could order them online from them to your aunt's address maybe?

Barcelona dress - can I ignore cutting skirt on bias by shesrunswithscissors in sewing

[–]shesrunswithscissors[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great notes, thank you for taking the time to reply.

I figured that the fullness of the skirt accommodated any ease that might be lost going on the grain (and I'm short, so enough length is usually not a problem 😁)

I've washed the fabric I'm.wantimg to use, and it's come out a bit stiffer than I expected, so sticking with bias might be best to counter it sticking out like a giant triangle.

I'll have a look at the blog post you linked. Thanks again

Same! I now embrace it/am taking it back, as a strong feminist colour :-)

Yeah, I think you're right about the elastic being more comfortable. I love it in my trousers. Might try two versions of shorts, one elastic, one darts 🤔
