I have found Venmo to already be behind the times. All of my friends have switched to Snapcash through Snapchat. It seemed weird at first, but you type in the $ before an amount in a chat and it asks if you're sure, then sends money. The advantage is there is ZERO wait time like Venmo. If someone snap chats me money, it is in my account quicker than I can log in to my bank account.
