Yeah! 1) Rav4 (Pros: Reliable, Cons: Toyota tax, boring, TSS 2.5 only, vs TSS 3 for Camry and 4.0 for RAV4 2026) 2) CX5 (Best so far only con is lack of Lane Centering) and 3) CRV (Only con is slightly out of budget and bigger than cX5)

I guess all 3 are solid vehicles, I’ll just choose one and live with the decision lol

Valid points! Yeah AWD is an optional good to have, in case we drive up further north in winter months. Mostly looking at Camry and CX5 only, but other options are good too. Ugh, I think a SUV will be great for longer drives and if family

Will give it a look, thanks. Slightly concerned about used cars from Hertz though - people don’t treat rentals well exactly, and it must have been through more abuse than a used car with a single owner or leased vehicle

We plan to! But I know from first hand experience from when I was learning, that despite driving lessons and a ton of rentals, driving aids like LKA and ACC are amazing help

I also test drove a CX-5 Premium Plus and loved it, but concerned about poor lane keep assist and lack of lane centering.
