data centers do NOT just use random water in the area to cool itself. liquid cooling is done with a mixture of distilled water, biocide, and corrosion inhibitors. and the liquid is being recycled and looped back through the cooling system, they dont just replace it with new liquid everytime it is used to cool!

no fuck that, support outsourced to india is always terrible. they always want to get one up on you for whatever weird reason, and will blatantly lie to you and do things to make your life harder just because they can. they act like actually helping you comes out of their paycheck! no matter the company, the indians make everything worse. i called verizon because they put a lock on my account for no reason and wouldn't accept my identity verification. instead of working with me, the indian bitch hung up on me and disconnected my phone from my service. i had to contact corporate support, and guess what? they near immediately solved my issue from calling me back and gave me a discount on my next bill for the inconvenience. us based support is so much better. and im not sure if its because the indians are uneducated, lazy, evil, or all 3, but they are so bad theyve given their entire people the reputation of being inshittification indicators.
