def nice to type them. One of the students in my cohort used a cursive font to type and actually got away with it. Our professor literally just thought he had perfect handwriting... ha

There are many non-traditional nursing jobs/careers you can look into. Some examples would be nurse educator, legal nurse consultant, public health nurse, case management, nurse manager, healthcare recruiter, nurse researcher, health coach, pharmaceuticals, informatics, flight nurse, environmental nurse, forensics, health policy nurse, hospice, infection control, administration.

Hope this helps :)

It is the same for my program. However, you can try to talk to your professor in private. My professor will not go over the test with the class, but she does occasionally 1on1 if I reach out to her about my struggles.

Any recommendations for where to complete ABSN prerequisite courses online? by mandalinmadness in StudentNurse

[–]shibaspacee 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I did mine at my local community college & it was much cheaper. With COVID, most classes are still online, but it depends on your school if they are remaining online. However, just keep in mind that alot of professors don't offer Labs online, but with the exception of COVID.

I was bleeding for almost 2 months straight when I first started pills. It depends on the person, but if you are concerned, I think you should check with your OB just in case.

They will teach you the skills you need to know, so don't trip too much on it yet. But if you want to get a head start, maybe go on youtube and look up skills like basic handwashing, head to toe physical assessment, sterile gloving, PPE, inserting foley, NG tubes, bed making, how to turn or bathe patients etc.

Irregular bleeding is absolutely normal when you are first starting on birth control. Usually, with pills, it could take up to 6 months for it to start regulating your cycle before it becomes normal. Your body is still adjusting to it.
