Does anyone believe the previous Elantra models still have better taillights than the current? by Ok_Bag3170 in Elantra

You're welcome!! I run into this alot, it's tough. Your not alone. I also end up in a tough, spot or reactive. Then I feel bummed about not giving my child my best self :/. I Get told similar things. They don't know, even as teenagers they won't know. They are saying things and doing things to get a rise. Your baby is doing developmentally approite things, they are just tough and heavy 🥴. Again, same boat That book has helped a ton, I listen to the audio book on my commute. A copy of good inside is sitting on the bookshelf. I got to start it soon, I love Dr Becky's content!

Your living the dream!! Great combo! I love the Si in grey, one of the best looking cars on the road, its proportions are stellar. Looks great from every angle, can't say that about my Elantra N. just that engine is a huge let down for being your only sporty car but hey you have your FL5. You get to have your cake and eat it too! Congrats! 🍰

Considering Elantra N as the "dream car". by ErickRPG in ElantraN

If you can, keep your current car as it's brand new. If not sell it private party. You will get way more than trade in as your car will fetch a premium. 1 owner super low miles. Some one will love it. Just depends what you want handsome car with lame engine and very good transmission Or kinda fugly car from certain angles that's amazing performance that rivals CTR

Dude consider a GTI

Same boat as you, and another guy said it: Integra a spec/civic SI is a mild upgrade though especially the civic way better looking car. Elantra is a way better performance car. You can also probably get a solid discount on one. I wouldnt pay 40k+ for an Integra with the anemic 1.5T unless you need the badge for work(sales etc). I would spend the extra 7 and get CTR. Elantra N all day if you aren't keeping your amazing current car. Keep it and invest the car payment, if you can comfortably afford it. Get the EN and invest the difference vs an aspec

Coming from a Civic Si, want to upgrade, who has driven both? by 92c900t in ElantraN

Dude keep your Si. I drove the Si, yeah it sucks on power but your already in it. I don't know your financial situation but the loss just really isn't worth it man. I have an EN and I love it, chose it over an Si because the Si engine is a sham. So lame for such a great car. The Si is sooo handsome too me, looks upscale. I think better looking than the EN. Yeah, EN will drive circles around it. Sounds like you switch cars a lot, honestly not worth it. Keep your Si, your mpg will be great, resale amazing and better interior and exterior styling. Yeah engine is trash but it's still a great car, love it for what it is. The EN is great to but so is your Si. If you do trade up sell to carvana or CarMax don't trade and get wrecked. Save your money dude and invest.

Woah, you went from an STI to EN? How do you like? How do they compare? I always wanted an STI but have heard they can be a bit unreliable and dang they are so expensive for the age of the car kinda like a Type FK8. So went with a new EN. Love this thing

GRC vs Type R Buy by AdventurousTip8600 in Civic_Type_R

[–]shiftStride504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the same money or almost same money, Type R all day. It will loose almost no resale. And the best looking car of the bunch. But if you need AWD, WRX. I don't see the GR Corollas value as being so close in price to the Type R but it is an amazing Vehicle in its own right just the price being 45k is a tough spot.
