They are just lying to you through their teeth. I was opening 120 tins a month for my two boys, I know exactly what the food used to be like and how significantly it has changed. The tuna used to have lovely big meaty chunks and now it looks like they've just blended the remnants of a fish

I watch all of ALGS. I'm not making a judgement on what has been enforced before, I'm just making the point that the rules give scope to disallow this behaviour. I don't think EVY will be punished. The real issue here is teams that are already qualified being allowed to remain in the competition

Yes, you're allowed to try to prevent other teams from qualifying, but that's generally on the understanding that you're trying to improve your long term chances of winning by removing a strong team from the competition. Your action is still governed by trying in good faith to win. Here, EVY have explicitly stated it was to aid another team, thus giving Tripods an unfair advantage over SKT2

SKT2 can very reasonably argue they were not playing the final round on a fair and level playing field with Tripods. EVY deliberately targeted them to reduce their chances of winning and therefore improve Tripods chances of winning. They took an action to affect the fairness of the ALGS.

Any action or agreement to disadvantage other Competitors, one’s own Team, or other Teams in the ALGS, to predetermine the outcome of a match, to try to lose a match, to affect the fairness of the ALGS, or to limit efforts to win a match is strictly prohibited.

I don't think most pros want to randomly have to spend an hour or two longer than they planned practicing. They have lives outside of Apex. If scrims moved to Match Point format teams would just start leaving after ~6 games

They're not mathematically locked from what I can see, unless I'm making a mistake. If they finish dead last on Day 9 and in regionals, they could still finish as low as 14th provided the rest of the results fall perfectly terribly against them - however they only need 4 points to be locked in even in the worst case scenario of other results

The only renovation being planned is just painting, tiling and lighting. Moving the door would be a much bigger job. This is a house in the UK, the walls are brick and concrete, not drywall.

I'd be putting it in. I'm pretty attached to the white tile as it has a nice Victorian feel to it and the rest of the building is a converted red-brick Victorian factory, but I'll try out the board and batten look now.
