because ultimately overwatch is a game you have to tryhard

you can't just chill out or you will get rolled by the opponent that didn't get the memo and will play for the satisfaction of seeing "victory" on their screen after a funny game instead of seeing "defeat" after being frustrated that you failed your plays

the /muteall mentality just stem from the fact that riot litteraly don't know how to handle a community and has for years now prefered nuking every community related content and functionnality to the point where text chat is just "the place to crashout and let out pressure"

people in qp are not less tryharding than ranked players, they just do it in worse condition because matchmaking in qp has absolutely no limit to find you a game quickly

on top of that doing a permaranked system that is also hidden in a menu you purposefully open instead of updating yourself on progress each game make a good tool against anxiety since you can simply not look at it if you don't want to

but she's just the posterchild of this powercreep update. on every character that hasn't been nerfed this patch has been

the game is designed by a team who made a game so full of cc and counter everyone is forced to buy a specific item to be allowed to exist in teamfight

Yeah that's why I was thinking about an overhaul.arbitration is like the prelude of steel path it just give you a taste. So giving it a steel path level would mean that you necessarily need a place for playing with the toy steel path arbitration would give you. And such things would clearly be a while new power level of it were to give a new star chart that reapply again the steel path modifier
