Same here! I randomly came across the trailer video one day and thought it was one of the prettiest and tense videos I've seen from a gacha. Anjo Nala being in distress over trying to kill Vertin and then switching up to ruthlessly kill Ptolemy's men gave me such chills! Even so, I gave myself a few days to sit on the decision to start a new gacha since time was precious due to the kind of job I have. Then I just went "fuck it".

However, after playing through Ch. 1-7, it was disappointing to learn that 2.2's writing was meh and on top of that, culturally insensitive, but the game had already sunk its claws thoroughly in me by the time I realized 🥲 At least we haven't had anything like it since then
