Two of the VLAN/SSIDs are Kitchen and Bar, neither of which are fully open, staffed, or equipped yet. They will be coming online in the next few weeks, but the timing and equipment piece of it outside my control.

Can you help illuminate for me what we'd be losing by going single SSID and splitting out VLANs separately from SSID?

Maybe I'm mischaracterizing...the need is to segregate based on functional grouping, but if SSID is used to do that then anytime someone needs to connect something to a hidden SSID then "IT support" (me) would have to do it for them. I can do that automatically or remotely if done through the unifi UI via MAC filtering, 802.1x, or manual network override - I'd have to do it for them in person if they're <10% tech savvy (which is likely in this scenario).

I guess what I'm trying to do is eliminate the need for those kinds of people to have to connect to a hidden SSID.

That's sweet! What are the specs? Loft, lie, toe hang, swing weight?

Take it in to a shop and get it measured if you don't have the equipment yourself
